Remarks

College is overall good, only the management should work well. The protests should be solved by peaceful interventions and cooperation. The problems must be solved either the protests will continue to ruin the daily peace inside the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course and fees structure is moderate. The fees are optimum for general students but the paid seat is a little costly for moderate student.Research is good here but you will have to struggle a lot due to bad management here.

Placement Experience

4

Yeah college provides us with internships in both public and private bodies.Stipend varies with the body you are working with. But Yes,you can always contact the student cell and go for many internships which is unknown to many.

College Events

3.5

The fests are good here but always cultural to be very honest. One must keep in mind that western culture is not promoted here in any fests except the fest of IIT BHU.Kashiyatra is the fest of IIT BHU which is celebrated with a huge gradeur.Lots of celebrities come here to perform. The IMS BHU also comducts some fests where singers like Darshan Raval came. The fest of The whole BHU is Spandan which is celebrated for four days mostly with cultural programs.Technex is a technical fest also conducted by IIT BHU.Everyone can participate in every fests if they are the student of BHU.So Its a positive side.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Normal fees are feasible but paid seats are often expensive in some courses. The paid seat fees is Rs 10000 per seat per year apart from your base fees. The base fees vary according to the courses.Starting from 3000 per year to 50000per year. The IIT and IMS fees are even more.

Fees and Financial Aid

No there are many scholarships. But mainly for sports and poor quotas.Overall again the management of BHU is not at all good. Many people doesn't even know about the existence of such scholarships. There are many trusts who offers scholarships here in BHU

Campus Life

3

Well Extracurricular activities is fully dependent on the Student.Lots of games, university team is well supported and backed up by the university.I have mentioned earlier that player scholarships are available here. The gender equality is prevailing. No racism, and everything is peaceful here in terms of Curricular activities.

Alumni/Alumna

Here moat of the professors are alumni and thus we have got a great guidance about everything in the college. They have spent a good time in the campus and theynalways tries to guide us and seniors also helps us and always ready to protect juniours and pull them out of anykund of problem.Every people remain unified here and the campus is ragging free.

Admission

I gave the B.H.U. UET Arts which is a entrance test conducted all over India for provisional Admission after 12th boards.I got 70 questions correct and got a chance to read here but because I am from general caste I didnt gor a hostel. There is also a screening or viva which is only a document verification process.

Faculty

3

Its good.Faculties are awesome but management is bad.Faculties are experienced. But experience is not at all these days,,students need updated ways and strategies to study. So a liytle upgradation of the strategies is required.

Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith - [MGKVP], Bachelor of Arts [BA] (Education)
Reviewed on Feb 17, 2026(Enrolled 2023)

Course Curriculum Overview:

The BA curriculum in my college at Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith (MGKVP) for the 2025–2026 academic year is structured under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, making it academically comprehensive but traditionally theoretical. It follows a six-semester system that offers a wide range of subjects, from core Humanities (History, Political Science, Hindi) to modern electives and Vocational courses (e.g., Nutrition, Yoga, or Digital Literacy), providing students with a multidisciplinary framework. In terms of relevance, the syllabus is exceptionally well-suited for students aiming for government services and competitive exams (UPSC/UPPSC), as the depth of social science subjects mirrors the state and national civil service patterns. However, its professional comprehensiveness is lower; while the curriculum includes internal assessments, presentations, and project work to build soft skills, the actual delivery remains focused on rote learning and theory rather than industry-ready practical training. Consequently, the course is highly relevant for an academic or administrative career path but requires significant self-supplementation (internships or external skill-building) for those seeking immediate roles in the private sector.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is well structured, relevant, and comprehensive. One of the main reasons I chose this course was its balanced syllabus, which includes both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The curriculum is designed in a way that builds a strong foundation in core subjects while also introducing advanced topics gradually. This helps students understand subjects deeply rather than just studying for exams.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My Biggest reason to choose this subject to I like art related work,so I choose this subject. One advantage of doing this subject is that along with art,you can learn a lot from other social and cultural aspect as well. There is a need to make some improvements in this subject such a a course should be of shorter duration and the syllabus should be made a little shorter. Whatever the exam, the subject should be made a short subject with less duration and should not be of long duration.
