SASTRA is a gift for students who can get through merit scores. Could groom students academically and also as a gentleman within course period. Cultural festivals entertain students and also vast opportunities in research field enhances knowledge of students

The best course structure is available in SASTRA. More of research oriented and lots of opportunities for experimentation and gaining practical knowledge. Exams are do hectic sometimes but can easily be handled if we drive the course with little interest.

Excellent placement opportunities are being offered in SASTRA. Almost all of students opting to get placed excluding those who opt for higher studies get placed. Rich opportunities are there to get placed in CORE companies. Apart from this, IT industries, Banking sectors also come during placement drive.

College life is incomplete without culturals and events. Loads of celebration is guaranteed in SASTRA. Starting from KURUKSASTRA, the annual cultural event to Technical events in each department make college life colourful.

Fee structure is nominal. Tution fee is about 50K per semester and hostel fee varies from 10K to 30K annually. Mess fee is generally 3K per month. Apart from this no extra fee would be charged during the course time.

Scholarships are offered to top scoring students in terms of academics and also who shine in sports. Semester abroad program is an excellent opportunity for students to pursue their internship of 6months in any university abroad with 80-100% scholarship.

Gender ratio would be around 55:45. No politics allowed inside college and no student Union available. A complete peace and freedom can be enjoyed inside the campus irrespective of gender, culture, religion, race etc.

Variety of hostel rooms are available ranging from 6 per room to single rooms. Normally common toilets are neat and clean. Room cleaning service will be done once in a week at free of cost. Room rent ranges from 10K to 30K annually.

Alumini network is being maintained by respective departments and as far as my network is concerned, it is much useful for job seekers and other alumini to get to know the current happenings in their fields.

I Choose Chemical engineering as my career. A chemical engineer is called a Total Engineer. He must have a basic knowledge on all subjects. Admission process is based on 12th board marks and JEE score. A complete merit process wherin rank list is released and will be called for counseling.

All faculties are hand picked based on their knowledge, Impact scores for their research works or articles and papers they have published. A well qualified team of faculties are ready to guide the students in all departments.
