College management is not so much close to your heart. They won't even mind you. If you approach through the right channel, you can get things done your way.

TNEA Counseling is the process and the course mechanical engineering was based on my own and interest and also the better number of core engineering placements from this college compared to other colleges in the region.

An autonomous institution, therefore the courses are exclusive and updated. You have Rapid prototyping, refrigeration, tool design, jigs and fixture design, etc and coming to the faculty they are a mix of both young and experienced. Most of them are from top universities and best of knowledge.

Wipro, Infosys, Asahi India glass are the companies and the stipend range depends on the company. Highest being 15k and the lowest is 5k.Zoho corp was another company that was in for internship. Most of the intern offers were made by IT majors.

Around 700 from a batch of 1200 got placed. That includes all MBA, MCA, ME and BE.CTS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, Tech Mahindra were the IT majors offering 3.2 lac per annum .

All departments have a technical symposium. Other than that Onam is celebrated in grand fashion.Otherwise every now and then some technical and business events will be conducted.Participants from other colleges are around 500 for the symposium.

Fee structure varies every year, generally it's feasible or expensive, depends upon the student's background. For me it was expensive. The fee structure varies every batch and the trend is always up and it keeps on increasing year by year. So it will be definitely expensive for students from middle class background, that's where I belong to.

The govt scholarship is arranged and special scholarship for SC/ST students. Also students with top cut off marks in counselling will get a few waiver of 40K per year for 4 years.

Campus life was like heaven. You will feel the nature around you. Sports and lab facilities are top notch. You are a free bird in hostel until you do some mischief and get remanded.

Rooms are good and clean, 4 per room, you have enough privacy. Though the hostel food was not so great in my times, I don't know about present condition.

Alumni network is good. Every now and then some alumni visits are scheduled and also placements are arranged through the seniors. Most of the seniors are from major companies like Caterpillar, TVS, Toyota, etc. They have a good interaction with the current set of students, explain them about the industry trends and what's required from a pass out just coming out of college.
