Remarks

State of the art campus. However, location is very far off from the main city. Also there is no in-campus accomodation. Food in campus is very average and slightly on the pricier side compared to other institutions.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum is dynamic and keeps pace with the changes in the market and economy. We have 14 electives in our final year. We need to choose 8 from a specific specialization to make it our majors. We can choose any other elective if we so wish for the remaining 6. The exam structure is standardized across all 4 campuses. We have 60 marks as internals and the remaining 40 marks as final exams. Our exams contain all compulsory questions.

Placement Experience

4

The placements are above 95% every year. Lot of good companies come every year with ICICI BANK, DELL, INFOSYS, ETC being our loyal recruiters. Average package offered is around 9-10 LPA. Even internships are good. Although some companies offer no or low stipend but there are good brands that come each year specifically for marketing internships.

College Events

4.5

There are many events in college. There are many committees and clubs and each of them conduct several events. So we have events happening in and out of the campus round the year. The cultural events are the best.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fees is around 10 lacs per annum. So it's quite expensive. If you reside in your own accomodation it's cheaper as the college accomodation is expensive and not worth it. The fee increases every year by 50,000.

Fees and Financial Aid

Not aware of the loan/scholarship facility. Generally people take bank loans and come. However, you can check out the website and read about the loan/scholarship facility. You need good academic record in order to avail it.

Campus Life

4.5

Girls are more than boys. The extra curricular are also quite good. You get to learn a lot of things and you get to organize the events single handedly. Rang the cultural committee organizes the freshers, farewell, halloween party, etc.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are like flats. 2/3Bhk. They provide washing machines and microwave and fridge in the flats. But the food is not great. It's quite expensive. Every room has double sharing and you can pay extra in case you want AC.

Alumni/Alumna

There is an annual alumni meet where students get to interact with seniors that bave graduated. Also the culture is such that the juniors and seniors are in constant contact through the clubs and committee activities.

Admission

You have to appear for the Nmat test. If you score above the cut off (190 and above generally) you get the call for the group discussion and interview round. Both the rounds happen on the same day in Mumbai Campus. Based on your performance in this round you may/may not get an offer letter.

Faculty

3.5

The faculty is highly experienced and qualified. We also have guest faculty that visit our campus and take certain electives. However, the teaching style differs. We love some teachers and don't like some. But we get notes from the teachers so that helps us for our exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements in the college are good for marketing specialization. Compared to other specializations, from semester 2 itself, students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, KPMG, ICICI Bank, and HDFC Bank visit the campus. The highest package this year was 40 LPA, and the average package is around 6.5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is 70% for now. After getting the degree, selection in a good company is my plan.

Placement Experience:

The average package offered is moderate and there are limited opportunities for high paying roles compared to top tier colleges. Companies that visit the campus are mostly small to mid sized organizations. The placement cell is very supportive and conduct training sessions such as aptitude tests, mock interviews and soft skills development to prepare students for placements.

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college is decent, wiyh around 90% of students are getting placed. Students usually become eligible for placement in their final year and the college provides internships opportunities before that, which helps in gaining experience. Many companies visit to campus mainly from marketing and sales, along with some roles in HR and operations. The number of offer is good but option for finance and analytic are comparatively limited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to rate the course 7 out of 10. Because as these is a distance learning many difficulties occur. I am doing a MBA in ksou after my graduation in b. Com. As ksou comes under UGT it is more helpful for the job seeker. As per my knowledge the faculty should conduct a more classes may be through online so that the working people can attend the classes from wherever they want. There are many distance learning courses in ksou academic platform but they are not handling in a accuracy. They take a lot of time to announce a results, even to conduct a exams they take a lot of time. The question paper are sometimes difficult and the question will be from out of syllabus which will be difficult to attend. Distance learning course is difficult to manage
