There are always some negative and some positive of every organizations/things. MNNIT also has positives and negatives.In terms of placements,academics and extra curricular activities this is a great college but this college is lacking somewhere is infrastructure and research technologies. in some areas improvements are required.

Course curriculum is nice and it is oriented according to the national examinations like GATE,ESE etc. in exams we have mid sems and end sems in a semeseter.There are 8 semesters in btech programme.Practical exams and theory exams are different.

Placements and opportunities have made this college really famous in recent years. This college is having fabulous placement and internship records. Specially in software sector this college is performing really awesome.

There are many events celebrated in our college like avishkar is annual technical event, culrav is annual cultural event, josh is sports meet, alumni meet, ecell meets, freshers party, rukshat - farewell party etc

If you are candidate with annual income greater than 5 lakhs, then you need to pay 71,000/- for odd semesters and 68,000/- for even semesters. If you are below 5 lakh but above 1 lakh then you need to pay 35,000/- on average all semesters. Mess fee remains the same. If you are below 1 lakh then you pay 8,000/- in odd semesters and 6,000/- in even semesters. This is for hostelers and 15,000/- is the mess fee.

Many of students are getting scholarship from their home state government. yes students can avail for loans also if they are not able to pay by their own. Student welfare of MNNIT provides scholarship to meritorious students each year. This scholarship does not have income as a criteria and are given to top 10% students of each branch considering their CPI. For first years or fresher's, JEE main rank is the criteria. They are supposed to have General rank <4000 or so.

Several events are organised after regular gap like Avishkar,and yes the most awaited SWAGAT after 1 month of admission.The most unique thing about MNNIT that here in SWAGAT(welcome ceremony) juniors perform themselves and they are being taught by our seniors.Several commitee and clubs are there(bhangara,nukaad,garba commitee and many form),quizes are being organised by seniors,and gives amazing cash prizes.

Most of the students live in hostel and they use facilities provided by hostels like food,electricity,water etc. hostel infrastructure is good enough. Each floor has washrooms, at each corner, with Aquaguard coolers and geysers. There are altogether four lifts. There are common rooms; having either table tennis tables or TV. There is a computer room with desktops having internet connection. There is a visiting room, and caretaker, accountant and warden offices. There is a general store to cater the essential and stationary needs.

alumnit network is really good. people from mnnit are working in best companies of the world. many people are working in government sector as IAS,IES officers also. seniors are really helpful in mnnit even if they are alumni they are ready to help you if they are available.

Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad is college of national importance in which admission in btech programme can be made by passing jee mains. JEE MAINS is an exam taken at national level including subjects like physics,chemistry and maths.

Faculties of the college are good enough. They teach us basics and some advance things. For doubts one can have discussion in classes and in their cabins also. Some faculties are passouts from IITs and some are from NITs also.
