Faiz Ahmad's Review On Galgotias University - [GU], Greater Noida

Infrastructure is quite good and proper cleanliness all time. The faculty of my electrical department are very kind hearted and supportive. But the management of the university is not good they trouble to student a lot for any kind of problems.

Course curriculum is quite good & interesting. It isn’t be so much lengthy and the exam pattern is also good.There is 2 sessional paper and then semester paper.Now it has been changed to one mid semester & a semester paper during each semester.

Placement are over all good but somehow there is lack in placement in core branches so the core branches students have to move in it companies. No, college doesn’t provide internship for students. We have to go & find for summer internship.

The university organises lots of cultural & technical events & also festive events som of technical events I remember was Hack-a-thon, Make-a-ton, etc & having participants are around 200 approx & there is cultural events like rangoli fest, deewali celebrations & having 200-300 stundents.

The fee structure is somehow little expensive, actually the fee structure of B.tech core branches are 159000 per annum, And the students have to pay the fee in advance. In some circumstances the fee can be paid later by approving to dean & pro VC.

I didn’t avail any kind of scholarship or loan which is offered by the university & even though i am not much aware about this. Once i have filled national scholarship for minorities but I didn’t get the amount.

The cultural management department organises lots of extracurricular activities like dance competition, art & craft etc for each there is a particular society or group and the management group which help in organise the event. Ratio of boys and girls are almost same And there is no any diversification regarding race religious economics status etc.

No, I haven’t opted college hostel due to seats have been occupied but the college infrastructure is good and neat & clean.So i decided to took private hostel which having 87000 fee per year,that is 15 km from hostel which it provide its own convenience.

The experience with seniors of our university are really good & helpful. They support whenever we need any help & even they treat us very well. They are generous and kind hearted in nature they never misbehave with us.

I fill the entrance form & apppeared for entrance exam & got cut off marks and get a chance. I have much more interest in electrical because in the childhood i am curious to know how & by which process it work so i open the motor car and other electrical toys.

The faculty of the college are well qualified & having too good behaviour toward student and very supportive. They put their full effort toward their subject to teach us. They motivate us to do something new & innovative.
