Good college

There many positives about the college as well as few negatives. Students who shows interest in their studies will surely have bright future as faculty guide them well. Some faculty cannot reach our expectations it's a negative but we can approach that particular subject with other faculty with same subject specialization who donot argue to explain any doubts which is positive. Infrastructure look is not upto the mark compared to other colleges. But education is good compared to others.

The course structure is well planned and includes the new technological needs which provides the students to get into the software industry with the ease. Exams and labs are done are very frequent and provide good knowledge which gives some practical exposure to the theoritical subject learnt increasing the grip over the subject well. All these facilities are available and done in practice regularly.

Placement and job opportunities are available. Many companies come to our college and some of them provide intership also. Our branch got almost 90% placements. we get either service based or product based company jobs. Our college donot provide any internships but some of the companies that come to our college provide interships. Major companies that arrive are TCS, WIPRO, INFOSYS. TCS and Infosys provide interships opportunity and some other companies also. I got placed in Infosys and done intership in it and got stipend of almost ?10, 000 per month for 4 months.

There are many events celebrated in our college likeTechnical and cultural events. Technical events include Fests organizing different competitions in coding. In the fests cultural programs are also done singing dancing and skits. Many people from different colleges come to our fest.

GayatrI Vidya Parishad College of Engineering offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the fields of engineering and computer applications. The tuition fee for the major programs is given below: The tuition fee for all B. Tech programs is INR 103, 700 per annum. The tuition fee for all M. Tech programs is INR 66, 800 per annum.

Students who get below 10, 000 rank in EAMCET who has the certificates of 1 lakh below income can apply for full reimbursement and above 10, 000 rank get half reimbursement. Loan facility can be given to students whose parents have government job and upto 3 lakhs only. There some cases if students donot have money to pay even minimal fee helped to join in college by some other factors.

Labs are available with good number and also with required number of computers with required softwares. We can get lab time more to get practical exposure. Sports are available and there college teams for every sport like tennis, table tennis, cricket, volleyball, basketball etc. Here students come from various places and includes different castes and religions. It is co- educational college. Boys and girls are almost in same ratio and treated equally.

Hostel are very good. Each room can accommodate 4 members. Locker is provided for everyone. One attached bathroom with Fraser provided. A balcony also with a wash basin. Cleaners maintain the hostel very good. There are many PG's available around the college example Jose Avenue, DwarakamaI etc. There fee is almost below 5000 per month only not more than that.

Interaction with our seniors is very good and made me learn and grow very well with thier guidence. There is no ragging in our college and even not allowed. If found strict acttions are taken on them. They guide us how to learn and study and we can enjoy their company.

After the government institutions in Andhra Pradesh this the best college as per the EAMCET ranks and one of the best college providing the placements. EAMCET is the entrance exam criteria to get A category seat in the college else you have buy the seat with donation as B category. Based on the EAMCET rank you can apply the in councling process correctly to get this college.

Most of the faculty are very good in their respective fields of study. But sometimes due to they teach the subject which is not their specialization then it becomes a little difficult but could manage finally. Many of them had PHD and some of them are doing for it.
