College review

College should improve it's infrastructure. as it's was a palce of maharaja which was later converted into a university. so for any changes required permission from heritage department which is quite difficult some times

Course curriculum is awesome. It was well designed.It starts from the very basic and advances as you move further. Exams are held in the month of november and april knows as externals or semesters exam. From 2nd year there are internals exams also there which are decided by the teaching faculty.

The placement and job opportunities are good.Those who have 60% result,are allowed to sit in the placement. companies like reliance,L&T,Matrix telecommunication,ABB etc are the regular companies which placed students every year. Yes college allow to pursue intership but in the end of 3rd year only.So right now i don't have any experiance.

Footprint (technical event ) Gujarat largest technical event Paramarsh(cultural event ) Prerna (aisa largest Da event ) all these event are students based events, college only provide space for organising these event.

As it is a government college the fees is nominal. It was only 10,000 per year.which include everything like your tution fees,sports,library,medical fees,college maintenance etc. It was taken in the odd semesters

As There college fees is very less,so as such there is no need of scholarship,but students avail different scholarship provided by the government. which require domicile certificate. as i don't have domicile certificate so i don't know much about these scholarship.

As mentioned above all the events are organised by students itself. Labs are very good but there is a scope of improvement. Gender ratio 1 is to 8 for girls is to boys.There is scene of gender inequality in our college every one are very friendly.There is students union which takes part in the college decision.

No i did not opted for hostel. as the hostel are also government provide so they are not well maintained and not well furnished so i decided to live in a pg. hostel have small rooms in which 3 people are staying which became very congested.

Senior students are very helpful. They help you in every manner like studies. They provide their own notes to help you in studies. and there is no scene of ragging in the college. Even 3 and 4 th year students also supports you totally.

There is a entrance exam called GUJCET. after 12th you can give this exam. There 30 questions in each section which include physics,chemistry,maths. after exam a merit list is prepared and youwere alloted your rank. On the basis of your rank you have to fill the preferences of college in which you want to go.After that college allotment is done. I have intrest in electrical technology so i decided to pursue this course.

Faculty is well qualified and have great experiance about there subject. They take full intrest in teaching there subject and find different ways to make subject more intresting. As the course is large so they manage there time to arrange extra classes to complete the course.
