College management is some how is dependent on the students union of the college. It's a good thing but on the other side it also had some bad effects.

Now a days CU is Prefering CBCS system ( Choice Based Credit System) in this system papers are based on MCQ and insted of 3 part in 3 years now a days it is following 6 semesters( half year each ) in 3 year course. In the course you will become expertised in the field of commerce.

Placement is not that good. In the matter you need to be self dependent you need to find a job for yourself by yourself. Although few companies come to the college for campus recruitment but their package are not that attractive. And also you need to face a huge competition.

Various Saminars, Quizs and all the sports competetion are organised along with the freahers welcome every year. The college is really good it's student union are allways in support of the teachers and student they helps to organise each and evry event in the college.

Feasible approx 6000 in a year. It is payabe on the college portal umeschandracollege. ac. in can be paid in any online mode debit card credit card net banking UPI yransaction or even through the wallet. The amount of 6000 in a year are after Including the exam fees too.

I didn't opted for any. So dose not know much about it but for the case of scholership a student with their parents can freely meet the principal.

The college is a fully boys college although it has a extended campus in the saltlake which is co-ed but the main campus is still boys college so there's no question of gender ratio. And the sports of the college is really good our college has won many trophy's in inter college games.

The college does not have any hostel facility the students in case leave outside Kolkata need to take any PG or Hostel or rental flat may be sharing depends upon your pocket you can get a packadge of 6000 to 20000 depends upon your requirements.

Not good, as I am not in touch of any almuni through the network of the college allthough as it's a popular college with a huge capacity so many persons comes in contact who has studied in the college.

After the declareation of class 12th result of CBSE, ISC & WB State Board the form fillup starts in the site of college which is umeschandra college. ac. in as per the prescribed form by CU (Calcutta University). Merit List was declared within one or two months after form fill up window is closed. Merrit list is based on the marks of class 12 th. One of the best college under Calcutta University best preferred for those who want to do professional courses with B.Com (viz. CA CS CMA CFA etc).

The faculties of the college are really energetic & are eager to give knowledge to their stdents. Teachers are allways available to guide & help the students in clearing their doubts. In our college we have dept. Head for every subject and 2-3 faculties teaching same subject chapter wise based on their speciality. And most of the faculties are young energetic and friendly.
