College review

College is really good. It is in the lines of IIT and if you don't get IIT or big NIT, go for it,you will not regret your decision.

Curriculum is same as of IIT BHU chemical engineering (exact copy). The main focus of this college is to groom students for oil&gas industry, as this college was established by 6 PSU's like IOCL, ONGC, GAIL,HPCL,BPCL etc. Two industrial visit were organized upto 3 years.

Placement are really depends upon PSU's. Like average package is 8-10lac, and about 60% placement in campus. Institute doesn't take any steps to prepare students but you can ask faculty to organise some group discussion sessions. Internship are given in 3rd year in PSU's.

Energia (sports fest)- around 20 college participate in the sports fest kaltrang (cultural fest)- all the nearby college are invited in cultural fest, celebrity is invited, and known music bands,dj are invited to perform. spring ( mba fest)- it's basically for the mba student, where buisness competition are held and prizes are distributed.

Chemical engineering Fees structure( including hostel fees)- General students-?120000(per semester)+ ?10000( one time security deposit ( refundable)) SC/ST students-?25000+10000(security) Fees can be submitted through any online payment method and demand draft and also e-challans are accepted. This fees structure is same as of IIT's,no donation are accepted, all the process of admission is transparent.

College offers scholarship for toppers and on income basis. Money is directly deposited in your bank account monthly around ?3000.

Campus Life is very calm as it is located 27km from city. Extracurricular activities are organised by various student chapter like debate, presentation, marketing competition. Sports facilities are ok not good. There is no classification of students on race or caste basis or economic status. Everyone is provided with same opportunity and same facilities.

It's compulsory to take hostel. Hostel room is double accommodation and room is very spacious and provided with 2 almirah,1 big study table. Common bathroom are provided which are cleany every day by staff.

Alumni network is not so good because it's only established 10 years ago. But they are helpful in internships.

We fill out the application form on 5th july,in which we were asked about our basic information and JEE advance roll no. & Marks. We were selected on the basis of merit list released on 19th July based on our rank in JEE advance.I Choose chemical engineering as my preferred branch because I love chemical engineering and how chemistry and technology work together to transform raw material to such wonderful products.My course started in 1august after verifying my documents on 29th july., Verification include school document,caste certificate, adhaar card, fees receipt (?120000(per semester) +?1000( one time security deposit)).I selected this college by reading about it on their website and Quora reviews.

Faculty is really good. Each course contain 28 lecture +12 tutorial (tentative).Course contain some petroleum and natural gas industry specific courses. And guest lecture are organised one every month by the CEO's and other highly educated faculty are ex- iit faculty and all re highly qualified and had a great research experience in their respective fields.
