Remarks

Sharda is a great place to study in. A bit of a drawback is the hostel food as hostelers say. Otherwise teacher's are cooperative syllabus is both focussed on learning thwory and implementation through practical knowledge , the sharda launchpad and syncubator which provides incubation to start ups is a boon.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course that i am enrolled in is Bsc(hons) Food Science and Technology , the course curriculum focusses on both practical and theoritical aspects, the labs are fully equipped with good quality equipments for better understanding of tge subjects like food science, physics ,chemistry. The classes leave us awestruck as we get to learn something new everyday, i personally love attending the classes. The continuos assesment done by teachers help us grasp on the course better such that we just need to revise once for the exams and we're swell.

Placement Experience

4

The University offers internships to students mainly in the second year of their studies, i am in the first year but i am currently working as a research blogger intern in a medical tourism company, Indomedtrip incubated by Sharda itself. I am receiving the stipend of 5000 per month wirh incentives like 250 per article if i exceed my target, which is good enough for a first year student.

College Events

5

All the major festivals celebrated in India are celebrated in the university for the hostelers and day scholars are allowed to be a part of it. The cultural event CHORUS takes place every year and is considered one of Indias biggest fest, with celebrity performances, dj nights cultural programmes and games.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as per my course it costs 300000 in total and the course is of 3 years so i pay 1 lakh annually, most people can afford studying in Sharda university easily, and if you're a high percentage holder ,you've got it.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college offers merit based scholarships to students on the tuition fee as per their percentage of marks. I don't have much knowledge of the loan scene but the college is in the strata of mildly costly, therefore mosr of the people can afford the expenses

Campus Life

3.5

ECA in the college range from sports arts environmental clubs to NCC and NSS out of which NCC is only for girls whereas sports like cricket football basketball, tennis and badminton are available. Where diversity of ethinicity ,race ,religion, sexual orientation and politics are concerned the tolerance and acceptance of the overall environment of the university is spectacular, as of the economic status, people don't usually judge each other on that.

Alumni/Alumna

The seniors and teachers are very helpful. they guide us well and.help us whenever needed. The teachers are good mentors and sort out our troubles easily.overall Interactions with teachers and students is motivating and positive

Admission

I got admission in the University through the entrance exam, after clearing the SUAT (sharda university aptitude test). I was called for Interview, which was in two stages one in person and second on-call interview. The exam is not that tough, eligibility criteria for the admisaion is atleast 60% in class 12 th.

Faculty

4.5

The faculty of the University vary from depaetment to department , but overall teachers are highly qualified and experienced, they teach with interest and put in great efforts to engage the students in their lectures, such that we can never get bored.

Course Curriculum Overview:

According to me you should choose Brahmanand College but as I wanted more practicals then theory work but it is not like that here because you get more time to study and practicals were less .Exams' timings were sometimes morning, afternoon so you will have to manage yourself accordingly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate the curriculum 4/5. Topics like programing and data structures are super relevant.it prepares us for tech roles, but could include more hands on projects and industry tools. More focus on emerging tech like Ai /ML would be awesome. Exams are semester wise and okay.areas for improvement: internships, coding challenges, and guest lectures from pros. Solid foundation overall !

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the faculty teachers and all the staff was very good and the faculty teachers of the science were very fabulous in education causes me to choose this course... The curriculum here was in terms of social interaction was ok but it was not that good for the future real world academic pursuits as their were not that much activities for the social appearance... In terms of course curriculum and teaching method this college doesn't need much improvements because it is much better according to teaching method , as the teachers were good in terms of teaching... The timing and frequency was having much gap between one semester exam and the other semester exam , so there were not much difficulty in giving exams according to my perspective...
