My college Gatha

My college experience is average in all aspects including academics, social life , infrastructure, opportunities by college. But quality offood provided in hostel mess is very poor it should be improved asap.

My course curriculum for mechanical engineering is old fashioned means there is lot to improve as per the current technologies and advancements. So it would be leaned towards research works. And 34hrs per week make it very hectic schedule.

In terms of placements MNNIT is is much better than many institutions of India. With more than 85% placements with an average of 7LPA CTC. They also provides us abundant internship opportunities. Almost no student go out with disappointed in this aspect.

Our Technomanagement fest AVISHKAR which takes place during September month is one of the largest tech fest in North India and cultural fest CULRAV is full of all colours of activities like all forms of dance, art drama literature quizzes and so on.

Tution fees for students whose income is below 1 lakh, is arround 15000 , for those between 1-5 lakh -56000 For above 5lakh - 144000 per annum Mess fee - 30000 per annum Hostel fees-24000 per annum Which quite feasible for people of all classes.

As it is an NIT- institute for national importance. One can get educational loan easily from any bank. And several scholarships ate provided by college for students having good academics And so many scholarships are provided by central govt. And respective state governments.

MNNIT provides a lot of sports opportunities in almost all popular indoor and outdoor games. There are so many student groups for all cultural and technical activites like arts, drama, dance, literature, modelling, robotics, aeromodelling, research and so on. Gender ratio in this college is very poor just 15-20% girls even with 14% reservations for girls.

For first year students hostel and mess facilities are like 3 star hotel but further it keeps on deteriorates. Hostel rooms contains 2/3/4 as per your course year. 3- fitst year students 2/4 - for others

Juniors get so much help from their seniors in all forms but if I talk about alumni network, we get a lot of amount in alumni fund but cooperation with them is not so good. It is not so easy to connect with your alumni.

To get admission in MNNIT you have to clear JEE Mains exams and in the basis of your rank JOSSA (admission authority for admission in IITs, NITs, IITs and GFTUs) gives you opportunity to crate your college and branch preference and you will get suitable branch in this college. Admission process is quite simple and easy.

I'm not questioning the Selection process and qualifications of professors but their attitude towards students is not good i.e. students teachers interactions is very poor. Thats makes the gap between quality education.
