Ravenshaw University :A historic university of excellence

A university without 150 year's of excellence & having alumni like great freedom fighter Subash Chandra Bose & many more, the red fort has hosted the first parliament of the state with several memories stored in each bricks.

The university follows the CGPA system which is applicable universally across India as per UGC norms. Every year we have 2 semesters, Odd semester in the month of November & even semester in the month of April,with mid term exam in each.

The university host various placement programs for final year students & also career counseling sessions to guide the students for future course. The university doesn't provide any internship program as per now. The placement cell are very good ensuring every help to the students

Each department celebrates it own annual function & similar each hostel has its pwn flavour of celebration. Every department or hostels tries their best to organise big & successful event. Apart from that the university conducts cultural program which are of huge success.

It's a state government university, so fees structure is very affordable. For B-Com it's 2500 for admission & 250 for each semester form fill up & 600 for readmission fees & it's similarly very low for other courses. Hostel fees are quite low & affordable even for a poor family.

There are no scholarship offered exclusively by the university however there are government schemes which a student can avail while studying in the university. Study loans does not arise because of the low structure of fees.

The gender ratio is almost equal around 8:10 (Female-male).There are several society like dramatic, athletic, sports club etc which take up the responsibility of naturing the talent of potential students. There are no discrimination done on any basis to any student of university, everyone is treated as equally as individual

I have not opted for hostel, but I have my friends staying there & it's very much affordable, the fooding charges is around 25rs per meal, & the accommodation charge's is around 5000 per year. For admission in hostel you need to pay one-time fee of 6000 & rest other amount are negligible.

They are very helpful as they guide our paths after we migrate from university to the open world. Personally I keep in touch with our seniors so that I'm focused upon my goals,& if I have any doubts or confusion i xan personally ask them.

I got admission in B-com graduation in the year 2017 over merit basis on my percentage scored in +2. In Odisha it's one of best University with experienced faculties. After being selected the candidate must appear for counseling to verify his documents & the information furnished by him in application form, if everything is true & fair it is approved by the administration & you are selected for the respective course

Qualified teachers as per UGC norms with vast experience on subject & delivering practical knowledge on every topic. The behaviour of teacher's towards the students is friendly, & there eager to adhere the problems of students.
