Best College

College has a rule for 90% attendance and not following it may held us in having a fine being imposed on us. And damaging any College property will also impose a heavy fine on us. This is somehow good for the students so that they behave like mature adults in the real and corporate world.

The course I selected is Computer Science and Engineering. Its a very good course with very good placement opportunities. Computer labs are very decent with helping lab assistants. The labs have systems for every student. Whatever is taught to us have a practical also so that every thing is clear to us. Every day there is lab conducted for us. The day is not very hectic but a little bit busy.

Placements are very good in my College as the Corporate Relations department and the training department do a very hard work with the students so that everyone can be placed. For the final year students company starts coming in the very starting of the year and till the end of the year also. The students who want assistance for placements then they are given assistance according to their needs. Even after graduation the College lets us notified if any company comes for the recruitment. Internships are provided by the companies visiting out College for recruitment. The students who get recruited in the company may be called for early joining or an internship for a specific period of time.

Fee structure is not very feasible but also not very expensive. The fee structure for 1 year for every course lies in between 140000 to 180000 per annum. The fees include our extra curriculum activities and all the facilities excluding the hostel and bus fees.

Scholarship is provided by our College for the students who are extraordinary and also they have to maintain the same performance untill the entire year. Scholarships are also provided by the government to the students who's family annual income is less than 300000. Loans are provided by the SBI branch inside the campus

Extracurricular activities are available inside the campus like basketball, football, race, batminton, table tennis, NCC cadets training, etc. Workshop is also present inside the campus for the mechanical students and they can be used by other students also but after taking the permission from the higher authorities. There is no gender discrimination among the students, everyone stays happy together.

I have not opted for the hostel but the rate of the hostel is 85000 per annum including the mess charges. This is the price of AC hostel. There are also non ac hostel rooms which are less expensive. Hostel room are very clean and everyday sweepers clean the hostel. The rooms are in sharing, 1 room is shared by 2 or 3 students. There are different wings for different year students.

Seniors are most interactive when it comes to our placements or any other problems. Head of the department also conduct a seminar with the College Alumni so that the students get to know the corporate world also before going and working in the real world.

I got the admission through an entrance exam conducted by UPTU. Then after I got my rank then I filled the counselling form for selecting the College. The process is very simple. When I locked my College in the process then I just visited the College for acquiring my seat. The College dean and receptionist helped me in the entire process which included documentation and submitting the fees. After this I was given portfolio which contained every details with the contact number of dean, HOD's, and the person which can be of our help.

Faculties of the College are very helpful as they are always available for the students who want to learn new things. Faculties are available after the College also so that students can clear their doubts if anyone have it.
