The culture is quite positive and good, people come out of this College completely changed and matured. There is a overall positive atmosphere, all the student chapters provide good opportunities for socialising, there is nothing majorly negative about the College, some may say the placements are not as good as expected from a NIT.

Course curriculum is sufficient and adequate for all the future exams you may take on this course, includes all major subjects. Exam structure is semesters based and mid semester and end semester take place in a single semester

Placements are only average, departments like computer and mechanical recieve 100% placements but other dept like civil and chemical can see less than 40% placements, packages are also average. You can intern under faculties but without any stipend

College fests - SPARSH, SPANDAN, MINDBEND, KAIZEN and many departmental specific fests, SPANDAN is a drama fest with only College students allowed to participate whereas the SPARSH is the main cultural fest which sees dance, music and fashion night along with celebrity nights and all Gujarat attendance

Tuition fees is 1.25 lacs per year and curriculum fees is sum total of 5 lacs for a 4 year degree although there is a exemption of fees for students belonging to SC and ST category and there are also many no. Of scholarship programs for underprivileged families. Overall the fees is at par with other institutes of this level

There were many scholarship programs run by the central government and the state government and also the MHRD India, although they were not provided directly by the College itself all the information and help was available at the admin building, there were no loan facility available directly by the management.

Labs were above average, department wise the quality differed, mechanical, civil and electronics department had very good labs some were funded by the world bank but other departments had only average quality labs, still better than others Colleges of the same level. Single large sports ground was present with tennis, badminton and basketball courts available, also gym. The College lacked a swimming pool.

Yes I opted for hostels, the hostels in this College are well above average, some say they have one of the best hostels of this class of College. Accommodations are shared for 1st year students and single sharing after that.

Seniors are helpful during and after the College, there is an alumni association which holds yearly meet of 25 year old alumni of the College. The Network is strong on paper and many job and internship opportunities are made available to the current students by this network

After your 12th, you have to appear for JEE ie. Joint entrance exam which is an all India level admission entrance exam. The exam sees an average of 14 lac applications every year and is considered to be one of the toughest exams of India

Majority of the faculty have books on their name and have many pg students under them, they are well experienced. College has a PhD criteria for faculties, so every faculty is atleast a PhD. The lab assistants are also competent
