Remarks
People are too much into themselves here and do not think much about others emotions and feelings. Due to this, too many cases of suicides have have been registered at my College in the last four years.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure is very good and highly encourages independent thinking. We get a lot of funds for our research which is again very helpful. Although the exam schedule is too frequent and is somewhat hectic for students.
Placement Experience
The placements and job opportunities are excellent at my College. Yes, my College provides internships at various multi national companies with stipend ranging from 20,000 - 100,000 Indian National Rupees.
College Events
My College organizes a cultural and technical fest every year. These fests are considered North India's biggest Cultural fests. Participants from all over India reach IIT Delhi to showcase there skills in the field of engineering and different cultural events.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee structure is slightly expensive but it is totally worth studying here. After all it is the top most engineering College of India. Also, students have an option to take an interest free loan so it is rather feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
At Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, you can apply for an interest free loan and pay it after getting a job. Also, there are many scholarships to encourage academic excellence which is a good source of pocket money for studios kids.
Campus Life
Everything is very good here specially labs and sports with world class accessories and sports complex with international dimensions. But The cultural clubs don't get that much funds and are not supported much by the faculties.
Hostel Facilities
My hostel is well built with clean and spacious rooms. Hostel life is fun with many indoor games like table tennis, foosball, carrom, snooker, etc. There is a study room and reading room also. There are different rooms for different cultural activities. We also have a gym.
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network at IIT Delhi is very good and our seniors have always been there to help us at all points in life. Whether it is arranging funds for our cultural fest or getting placements at desired companies. They have guided us in choosing appropriate career options.
Admission
I am from Kota and prepared for IIT JEE at Vibrant Academy. With dedication and hardwork, I cleared the exam in my first attempt and got admission in Electrical engineering because I was fascinated by this topic back in my 12th standard
Faculty
The faculty at my College is good on an average with some professors not that good at teaching and more indulged in their own research work. Although some professors are really helpful and are present for your help at almost all points of life.
