My College, My experiences

There are few rumours circulates on the local news channels about College regarding ragging and suicides and those news were completely telecasted with half information they had.Overall the campus is very student friendly and supports and encourages in personal and professional development of student.

The course curriculum is quite intresting and encourages on research. In campus freedom in given to use labs and equipment and it is kinda chilled mostly except during exams. The curriculum was structured based on IIT standards. Exam structure is we have 3 mid semesters and one end semester exam which includes internals and lab externals for every semester which is 5 months long.

Ours is pudding College ,coming to internships students started going to internships in the 3rd year itself. College is providing opportunities by welcoming the companies to offer full time 2year interships and summer internships. We have many GATE enthusiasts also and they are working to publish their own research papers.Stipend was about 20k to 30k as far as i know.

We in collaboration with our sister College RGUIIIT,Nuzvid organised many College fests. Few of them were TECHZITE(National tech fest) CYGNUS(Cultural fest) TCRUSH(College level tech fest) AIIYC(All India Interstate Yoga Competitions)2020 was held in our sister College Rguiiit,Nuzvid Participation in them is based on the order i mentioned above

Fees structure is completely and truly feasible.most of the fee amount will be covered by goverment scholarships. If a student is not eligible for scholarship he has to pay a total of 36,000 inr for PUC(for each year) and 40,000 inr for Btech(each year fee).

The College offers shcolarship that covers almost fee amount that is required for the 6 years of course and it was based on state government's scheme.If any student requires loan for further studies the certificate College offers is enough to avail the student for like for student exchange program in abroad.

We have all kinda labs and clubs in the campus and huge ground for sports and games and our College teams participate in inter College sports meet and also take part in yoga,chess,dance competitions that are held nation wide. Female sex ratio is higher than male as i have said the recruitment is based and merit and reservation as women have 33%reservations they are populous.The College appears to be kinda conservative so socialising with opposite gender isnot advisable in the campus but upto an extent is considered okay.No discrimination is faced and no politics are encouraged in campus and no economic status point raised as most of the students are from middle and lower middle class with higher ambitions and goals.

This is a completely residencial College and the hostel fee is covered in the previous amount mentioned. The facilities are quite good and we have 3 sharing and 6 sharing rooms.No PGs are required as the management does't allow as staying in hostel is part of the rules and regulations and it is covered in the scholarship given by the govt.

We have interactions with the alumni of our sister College and they are very helpful and provide recommendations and references during placements and internships.My interaction with seniors helped me in organising the studies and managing the academics and extracurricular activities and focus on goals.

I was selected through merit list based my 10th standard CGPA. Here we were offered Integrated Btech. course (PUC+BTech) which is 6 years course combined. Engineering branch was offered based on PUC CGPA.Admissions are completely based on merit list and social reservations.

As of now most of the faculty are just qualified to teach but they are very much intrested in engaging with students to help them with the doubts and always encourages students on research and projects etc.
