Remarks

One main point here is the attendance which is 90%. The fine is charged if it goes below that. So if you are looking to have serious studies, it's a boon. And if you take part in any event, delegations are provided by faculty members.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The course curriculum is decided by AICTE and AKTU which is the university our College is affiliated with. When we talk about curriculum it is mostly theory and very less practical implementation. Research is not focused here but if you desire you will definitely get help from faculty members. Talking about test and exams, there are assignments (10 marks) which are frequent rest class tests (15 marks) happen thrice in 6 months and then one exam (100 marks) of each subject in every semester. Labs happen 3 or 4 times a week. And when we talk about the day then that surely is hectic because the day starts at our College at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. with 1-hour break in between rest we have classes all the time in between that and you can't miss them to maintain 90% attendance overall.

Placement Experience

4

Placements in College are amazing. Mostly everyone in B.Tech gets placed within the first week of placement drive. Salary packages offered vary from 3.5 LPA to 10 LPA. Infosys is the day one recruiter and hires approximately 300 students. Companies like TCS, IBM, etc., are among other recruiters. We even have a placement cell. It helps in character building, and the training starts from day 1 in College.

College Events

2

We have one event for Freshers in which only first-year students are invited and we call it waves and it happens on a small scale. And we have a College fest once a year named "IGNITIA" which is open for all the students of our College and entry of others is allowed on passes. It's a 2-day event which starts in the morning around 10:00 a.m. and continues till midnight both the day's races, competitions, games, DJ night, etc. happens on these two days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible for my course (B.Tech Computer Science) when compared to that of other Colleges with these facilities included. It's rupees 1,50,000/- Annually with slight variations every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes, we have scholarship facilities for students whose family income is below 2 lakh annually. They have to fill the form in College itself. They get approximately 50000 in scholarships every year this amount is for B.Tech courses only. I have no idea about other branches.

Campus Life

4

Yes, we have extracurricular activities but they are limited to students living in hostels only day borders can't avail these because it happens after College hours. We also have a sports day every year in which various sports are played and competitions are held. But one main disadvantage is that unlike other Colleges we don't have clubs here. So it's your hard work that will take you places eventually.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The infrastructure of the College is just brilliant. We have centralized air-conditioned classrooms, labs, a fully air-conditioned central library, and medical facilities with a 24x7 ambulance service. The food served in the mess is okay which is far better than what they offer in other Colleges. But I wouldn't say it's tasty. Apart from that, we have a canteen where you can find many mouthwatering dishes at an affordable price. We also have a Nescafe outlet offering coffee and my personal favorite Maggie double masala. As far as the hostel rooms are concerned, they are spacious. Air-conditioned rooms are also available with a balcony attached to every hostel room.

Alumni/Alumna

When we talk about seniors we have absolutely zero ragging incidents for starters. And if you ask for any help from seniors it will never be denied they are very helpful in all sorts of topics whether there is a personal problem or study-related. For alumni network, I would say it's a little unheard of so no points there.

Admission

My admission was done through management. First, when you reach the institute you are sent to the admission office then you select the course you want to take, then only your mark sheets and eligibility is verified for that course. After that, there is a written exam of 1 hour. The result of this exam comes in half an hour. Once you are selected you will be sent for the next part i.e. interview. And once you have qualified for the interview you have been selected for admission to the College and have to submit some amount of money to lock your seat then and there.

Faculty

3.5

Faculty members in the College are mostly Ph.D. holders in their respective fields. They are very helpful if you go to them with any of your problems. They even give extra guidance if you are weak in your studies. The quality of teaching is in a very elaborate manner. Every topic is discussed thoroughly in the class itself. Every class has a projector for teaching too, and it is used for training as I described earlier. The College follows the AKTU curriculum. The course was useful. But teachers helped in providing extra books which helped in other national and international level competitions such as GMAT, GRE, GATE, etc.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I want to be a software developer. The faculty are very kind and helpful. Almost every faculty member has completed there post-graduation from various established colleges. The examination scheme is a little bit slow here. Students can pass their semester exams if they are paying at least 45 per cent of their concentration.
