Remarks
It's not a well-known or renowned College but they try to provide us best faculty. Specially thankful to teachers, they help us too much. Seniors are also good. One problem is our College campus is not large, other all things are good.
Course Curriculum Overview
This course structure is good as it's based on CBCS structure. Yes in zoology there's a focus on research. Yes exams and labs are frequent. Exams held in a gap of 6 months. But sometimes the gap decreases.
Placement Experience
As our city is not much larger, our Colleges don't get the opportunity of placement & job. But they are trying to make it available soon. No there's no internship in our College. But I think it's important to avail myself of the placement in College soon.
College Events
Yes, cultural festivals are held in our College. There are several departments in our College and from every department, each student takes part in these festivals. The chief guests of our district attend these festivals.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Honestly, it's expensive. I'm a student of 1st year so I can elaborate only 1st-year fees structure. For the first semester, we paid 2600. I think it's expensive. There is scholarship but not everyone can get that opportunity.
Fees and Financial Aid
I don't know about the loan facility but our College provides a Scholarship facility. Like, I applied for Oikoshree Scholarship. But there's a bad side, our College doesn't give us a chance to apply for any other scholarship if I applied for one.
Campus Life
Actually, it's not a well-known College so they can't provide us extracurricular activities. But labs are present for the chemistry, Zoology, and botany departments. NCC holds in our College as sports activity. Politics is not strong in our College. We protest politics as it breaks the relationship, friendship between us.
Hostel Facilities
I am a local student so I have my own house. That's why I did not hire any hostel or pg. From my house, it's 1km to get to College. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about the hostel infrastructure and facilities.
Alumni/Alumna
Our seniors are very good. They help us in every moment as a big brother or a sister. They don't rag us like other Colleges. They are really good and helpful. I really thank them for this. When we got any trouble, they help us genuinely.
Admission
I had a wish to graduate in Zoology so I took the B.Sc Honours. I got admission through the merit list. First of all, I applied online and waited for the merit list. I got admission through 1st merit list.
Faculty
In our department, the HOD did a doctorate. They are enough qualified to teach us. The main thing is we should attend all the classes, therefore, we can learn something. Several teachers teach us in a very good manner.
