Since it's a techno college, management students get the last priority in all aspects.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is on the quarter system. We have mid-exams minor exams and end exams for each quarter. Since we have a 2-year duration course, we have 8 quarters whereas the final quarter is completely for project work. Also, the department believes in application-oriented teaching to that of classroom teaching. A good number of live projects, field visits, case studies and expert lectures, workshops, conferences are held at time frames to enhance the student's skills and to stand out from the crowd.
Placement Experience
Internships are through our own references and few opportunities from college are provided. However, the final placement package is not up to the standard of the institute.
College Events
CURA, A national-level management fest is conducted solely by the MBA dept, to cherish the beauty of business and management. Apart from this, we also have Technozion and Springs Spree conducted by BTech students. All the events are national level and students across the corners of the country take part in them.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Absolutely feasible. The application fee varies from year to year. Currently, it is 1000 for the General category. The caution deposit is Rs. 10000 initially which is a refund after the course work. The placement has an additional fee of Rs. 1000 The actual course fee is Rs. 36500 per semester. The college does provide a transparent break-up of the course fee.
Fees and Financial Aid
No, I didn't opt for any educational loan. However, there is a scholarship faculty available for those who meet the criteria of reservation and annual family income.
Campus Life
NIT is a hub of clubs and events. We have around 48 clubs registered under NIT W. We have diverse clubs and so have gatherings and events every week with respective clubs. We also have respective faculty coordinators, general secretary, joint secretary, and executive members for each of the clubs.
Hostel Facilities
Yes. I have opted for a hostel. Warangal is really not safe or considerable to go for pgs. The facilities provided in the outside PG's are really horrible. It is suggested to opt the college hostels The mess of our hostels also serves amazing food.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, they are absolutely helpful. We have a WhatsApp group wherein all alumni interact with us with the current trends, job opportunities.
Admission
I have opted for MBA. I have given my MAT exam and got qualified through it. The admission process goes with initial mat screening, academic details, a group discussion, and a Personal Interview. NIT, as an institute of national importance, is always a dream place for students to study thus boosted my energy too.
Faculty
The no. Of faculty for the whole department is around 12. All the faculty are Ph.D. holders and have diversified experience in all the streams of management. The faculty are always ready to help us during Saturdays and Sunday's too whenever necessary. They also hold exposure to current happenings in management streams.
