The usual fantasy expectations of a college fresher like fresher party, large scale culturals, large scale sports events, farewells and head turning symposiums are not conducted by TCE. Also the college expects students to take the initiative even to do the regular tasks. In one way that is good but if you consider someone who is not used to this then he/she would be completely off pace on the happenings in the College. The food in TCE is a letdown factor.

The college is Autonomous. This has an advantage where in certain syllabus based decisions can be taken independently and thereby providing usually better and more wider scope syllabus compared to Anna University syllabus.Also industry interaction is on par with other A list colleges in Tamilnadu.

This institution has many teams like PROMETHANS (Manufacturing an all terrain vehicle for SAE BAJA INDIA ) and YUKTA RACING (Manufacturing on open wheel car for Go-Kart) and many more teams and clubs.Studying 4 years at TCE will be the best 4 years among your life.Almost every Students are placed except a few who have opted not to attend Placements and few who more than 10 arrear. I have had internship in TVS Motors Limited.They usually conduct placement training Session.

They conduct TechFest in the month of February for School Students,Culturals for each department in the month of March and Shrishti which is a Cultural event of Our college in the month of September. Two days workshop cum competition on Industrial Pneumatics and Hydraulics in 2019. TECHUTSAV Technical Symposium in 2019.48 hours Hackathon conducted by Honeywell.

The Fees for Merit list is feasible and for first graduates is even more cheaper and the fees for Management Quota is a bit more expensive. The Fees will be accepted by the College in terms of Cash, Cheque,Demand Draft, and Online payments, etc. No there are no extra fees to secure admission. Yes the college provide transparency in the fee-breakdown.

Yeah the college offers for Scholarship.The candidate applying for Scholarship must not have any of their parents as Government Employee.The student must have an aggregate of above 65% and must not have any backlogs.

However, compared to some A list colleges in Chennai or Coimbatore the exposure gained here is less. The ratio of Boys and Girls are almost par. Even though Madurai is known for the tasty food it offers kindly lower your expectations on food at TCE. Placement. No multiple sitting is allowed even for Amazon or Microsoft (the highest and most known companies recruiting at TCE) All in all, if your preference is to get a decent to in some cases good job, you are self learner or have high interest and if you are a person who is not distracted/influenced by peer groups, TCE might give you want you want and beyond. We have a special lab for Robotics in which we are trained to control the Robot. With these ambience we could prosper up to something big.

Yes, There are large sum of people from TCE pursuing their PG in IIT, IISc. and entrepreneurs, who have made big names in the industry. There is always a TCEian to help you in most of the foreign institutes,Arizona state univeristy, oklahoma state University.to name a few., if you are going for higher studies.Apart from these, I find TCE unique. It has something for everyone. For a good scholar it opens up channels for higher studies, for a budding entrepreneur it help you enhance the skills and industry connect, for a person who is good at co-curricular there are several clubs and activities. It also has a functional placement cell.

This is a Big Institution known for their Placement Percentage. I opted this course because I had intrest in Robotics and wanted to pursue my career in Robotics.I selected this particular Institution because it was one among top 10 Institutions in Tamilnadu. Moreover it was in my hometown. As my parents also didn't want me far away from them they selected that institution.We have to apply for Admission in Anna University and then you will get a call letter for admission procedure. Then according to the Marks secured in 12th Standard you will have to select the College.

Nearly all the professors would have completed their Ph.D, others will be purusing their Ph.D. You will be constantly encouraged to go for higher studies rather than getting placed with good salary packages.TCE is what it is because of the Professors and intellectual pool of students under them. The professors are dedicated, humble and friendly. I have I had the help of professors from other departments without which i would not have got to complete my project.
