SVMIT - college with all you need to study

Upgrade the campus with new technology and start online classes.

Sice it is affiliated with GTU, course is same through out the Gujarat - for all colleges affiliated with GTU. Though it is quite a outdated course you can get basic knowledge of Engineering but still they are teaching old school technology, which is of no use in real world

Unfortunately got wrong result - failed - in 7th sem. So unable to attend placements, apply for rechecking and got pass but by that placements are over. Though my friends attended the placement and few of them even got placed in companies.

In February, college celebrates all days with enthusiasm. After that, college also organize Sports week and technical events week simultaneously. Also invites other college teams to participate in events. And at the last day of event there is cultural events in campus ground.

Back in 2010 I have to pay approx 36000 INR for 1 year / 2 semesters. Mode of payment is usually cash / cheque /DD. lab charges are also need to pay but they are all includes in fees. Other than this we have to pay 1 time refundable charges for library as a diposit.

Not opted for education loan. And scholarship os not availed as it is private institute. Though students from SC/ST got scholarship directly from government.

Since I was in Mechanical engineering, gender ratio is very poor. Only 2 girls are there in branch and around 120 boys. Though not same in other branches. Gender ratio is equal in moat of other branches like Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering etc

Senior are very supportive they help us whenever and wherever we need. Weather it is about lab experiment or about project or about assignment provided by lecturers. They always support ert and provide the old study material from them which is always helps in exams.

Since SVMIT is affiliated with GTU and GTU jas a centralized admission process through out the Gujarat. Need to apply on its website, got admission in very first round and paid fees at college. Fill the forms and submitted to college office counter.

Around 45 lectures per week for different subjects but lecturers remain same through out the semester. They are old in their fields mostly either with masters degree or with Phd. They are quite supportive and try to provide maximum knowledge of their field to students.
