The college is a very good platform to accomplish your dream. Management is very convenient too.

Yes,course curriculum and exam structure are very relevant and knowledge based. As there are 2 written exams taken in a semester so that students don't get much load of paper. Labs are conducted almost everyday of different subjects. Then practical exams are also conducted to increase our real life skills. We have to present ppt. on various topics of the chapter in different subjects so that we should also able to elaborate our knowledge. And in every semester college also conduct local industries visit according to branch of the students. So, overall all these enhance our skills and chance of placement.

Placement of the college is really very attracting. Jamshedpur is a industrial city which reflects in our placements. College start to train students for placement from the very 1st year through various workshops, presentations and lectures. Overal placement percentage of the college is approx 90%. And in our branch it is slight low, lying between 75-80%. For placement, first a medical test is done, then academic qualifications are checked according to requirements of the applied company. Then a general aptitude test, group discussion and interview is conducted for selection process. For CIVIL ENGINEERING Dept., compamies which visited are:- L&T, TATA STEEL, INFOSYS, BHARAT PETROLEUM, JOHN DERRE FIITJEE, etc.

Technically, Sports as well as Cultural fest are celebrated in the college. Along with this branch fest are also conducted. Our technical fest, OJASS is the 2nd largest tech fest of North Eastern India. Cultural fest, CULFEST and sports fest, URJAA are also conducted at huge level. Students from different states and different government and private colleges came to join fests. Every branch also celebrates its Branch Fest like VIDHAAN, TECHNICA, etc. at city- college level.

College fees is truly feasible. As there is different fees for different income slabs students. Starting form Rs 30,000 to Rs1,04,000 per semester depending on family income. College accept fees through cheque, demand draft and various online methods. Only during the admission, Rs 10,000 extra is charged as admission fees. And the college is fully transparent in its fee- breakdown.

Yes, college provides various scholarship programmes and loans. For scholarships your family income should be less than 5 lakhs and some other criterias are also checked like caste certificates and academic performance. For education loan, there is a bank if SBI within the college which easily provide loan to the needy students.

Campus life is very chill and social. Various fun and cheerful events are getting conducted time to time. For your jest of playing lawn tennis, dancing, doing poetry, whatever it is, there is a platform for each dream. College has a strong base of robotics. As it conducts various robotics workshop and competition like KURUKSHETRA. Literature is also promoted both in English and Hindi with various debates, speech, poetry and various other competitions. Gender ratio of college is 2:10 means 80% boys and 20% girls. This is beacause girls don't prefer engineering much.

There are hostels more than needed for students. Single room is allotted from 2nd year upto 4th year and PG. Only for 1st year students, it is double seaters. Hostels are really clean and ventilated. There are total 12 hostels and each hostel have it own mess facilities. No ones goes for PG beacause they are getting good facilities at very compensated rates. So, PGs are not popular there.

Alumni network of the college is very strong. They help in various internship and jobs. Senior are very friendly and co operative. They help in every odd situation you are going through in college.

I got admission in the college through JEE MAINS exam which is entrance exam for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.According my rank, this college seemed best to me so I applied here through JEE counseling platform JOSAA and CSAB. For admission, first I had to visit college and verify all my documents like school certificates, academic qualifications, caste certificates, JEE MAINS rank certificate. After verification, I have to submit fees and confirm my seat. After this I got admission slip and other documents from the institute.

Faculty is one of the most prestigious part of the college. Every faculty member is atleast a Ph.D scholar from IITs or other renowned foreign institutes. In every subject there are 45 lectures allotted in a semester( comprises of 6 months) There average age will be between 40-45. Also, some of them have done vary beneficial experiments and projects for the country and the government. Also, some of them have industrial experience. As our city is a base of TATA company, it is a huge benefit for us in learning process.
