Remarks
The infrastructure is very poor, and connectivity during extreme weathers like heavy rains leads to cloging of drains of the College and resulting to water blockage in the campus and cancellation of classes. There is no proper playground and no proper parking place.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is a 3 years course, based upon 6 semesters under the Gauhati University. The exams were chilled. The internal examinations are conducted in the mid semesters, and the marks compromises of marks for attendance, home assignment and sessional examination, the total of which is added to the marks of the final examination.
Placement Experience
No, they provide placement opportunities only in case of MBA Course. Various Multi National Companies like Google, Microsoft, HCL, and many such MNCs come to our College for the purpose of campus placement.
College Events
The College conducts freshmen social for the freshers, an inter College debate competition. Annual sports week of the College is also conducted where many students take part in various interesting events. The College also conducts farewell for its graduating students.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Feasible, since it is a wholly owned government College, thus the fee structure is quite low. Moreover, many government scholarships are provided to the meritorious students who belong to economically weaker sections.
Fees and Financial Aid
Government scholarships are provided to the meritorious students, under which ?150000 is provided for the three years B.Com course, which will be received in three equal installments. Students belonging from poor families can also seek free admission upon the fee waiver scheme.
Campus Life
The College conducts students union election where the actual politics amongst students can be clearly seen. Various student parties contest in the general elections. Workshops or parties are not conducted.
Alumni/Alumna
No, there are no alumni network, it must be formed for the betterment of the College but is not formed yet, or might exist but due to lack of knowledge, it is not known to us. The seniors must join their hands for developing the College.
Admission
Applications for admission is made, and seats in College are provided on the basis of percentage of marks obtained, reservation system is also followed. The people who are a part of the merit list are allowed to be a part of the College batch.
Faculty
The faculty of the College is huge. There are a lot of experienced P.Hd holder professors as well as contractual teachers who are very helpful. They help us in all the ways possible. They are kind enough.
