They will not provide proper billing documents of the total fee what we pay.

My course is Medical Electronics which is an newly included course in Anna University syllabus. It deals with the medical equipment, their manufacturing process as well as the repairing process. My opinion about this course is always innovative and very interesting to learn. The course curriculum was successfully framed by the Anna University, so that we are gaining the perfect knowledge at the right stage of time. It is fully practice oriented. We are experiencing knowledge by doing experiments on real time medical equipments. As we all know, exam structure in my college is more similar to what 90% of college have. It has internals, attendance, assignments, viva, theory, practical, assessments, and so on. These all activities will be noticed and marks will be given based on this. There is no creative method in exam structures.

Our college is well known for its placement opportunities. We get placement in the end of 3rd year itself, and we have lot of time to concentrate on the final year project. Various companies come to hire us for the placement and at the end, nearly 90 % of the students will be placed. Our college provided a placement facility for our new course too within a short period of time. Of course our college provides internships along with the stipend. Most of the internships provided for our course is in the Saveetha hospital with an stipend of Rs. 5000 per month and rarely outside the hospitals, such as medical companies around chennai.

Our college conducts various events in an year. Technical Event includes DRESTEIN. Its an national level tech fest. The main moto of the Event is to DReam dESign compeTE wIN. On Average, we receive a minimum of around 5 to 6 thousand participants nationally. It's usually an two day event and there will be lots of price amount for the winners. Culturals will be always accompanied with sports day. Its an very sportive, fun filled, most entertaining event. There will be various houses (colours) and based on the winning points, we are eagerly waiting to see the overall winning House. Its celebrated very grandly and famous tamil celebrity are welcomed to the college. Other Famous Management Festivals include Pongal Vizha - celebrated in a very grand manner so that nearly 12 to 13 thousand people assemble in our SAVEETHA GHRAMAM to celebrate pongal. Founders day - Birthday of the Founder of our college is celebrated as founders day. In that day, management will provide free high class non veg as well as veg meals for around 10k people.

Fee structure is somewhat little bit expensive. It is Rs. 85,000 per annum. They include only the tuition fee. Exam fees per semester is Rs. 2000 to Rs. 3000 that depends on the number of papers per semester. There also no due fee that amounts to Rs. 1000 as a common breakage fee with an additional amount of fine that varies person to person. They also collect sports fee, cultural fee, kit fee, and so on.

They do not specially provide any scholarships. Tamil Nadu government provides the scholarship for the Engineering students. I have availed the First Graduation Scholarship provided by the government of Tamil Nadu. Being the first graduate of your family is the basic eligibility criteria for the scholarship. Government provides the 50% of the total college fee per annum as the scholarship amount. I am receiving Rs. 25,000 per annum as the scholarship amount since my college provides the billing documents for Rs. 50,000 only.

As i mentioned before, our college has an excellence in extra curricular activities such as culturals, technical as well as non technical events, sports, practical knowledges, etc. The labs are well designed for the students to go Excell in their field of study. We have 3 hours per weak for the single lab session and we have 2 to 3 lab sessions per weak. We have enough time to practice the lab session and learn practically.

Actually the best part of our college is that, the seniors are so friendly with us. The reason behind this is each and every student of our college, while joining, have to take a oath of Anti Ragging and we have to sign up a declaration form on the Anti Ragging committee that has safety rules. Hence the seniors are so friendly and helping to us.

I joined this college in the year 2017. During that time, our college is affiliated to Anna University. So i came to this via the Anna university counselling which will be held all over Tamil Nadu for the engineering college admissions. Anna University allots us counselling slot for the date and time of counselling which is based on the merit list (Rank list) of HSC (12th) examinations. On the date of counselling, the candidate have to be present at Anna University, Tamil Nadu and the Counselors of TNAU instruct us to choose three colleges and the respective courses in each college based on the availability of seats. At the end of counselling time, out of 3 selected colleges with courses, one prior college will be locked and that will be alloted for us. They will give us the admission call letter which we have to submit in the alloted college before the overall counselling ends. We have to pay the Admission fee of Rs. 5000 in the Demand Draft of Anna University. This is the process two years ago. But now the counselling become online.

Actually our college has well qualified staffs for all the departments. Since our course "Medical Electronics" is an newly included course, we have some well experienced doctorate faculties and some freshers too. But the freshers are also well qualified to take classes for us. Since it is an medical related department, we often go to hospitals ( Saveetha Hospital) and attend the live session. The live practical session will be given by the chief Biomedical Engineer of the hospital and also by the high rated Doctors. We are very interested to attend the class since out of 1 hr class, faculty will take only 40 mins and 20 mins will be given for relaxation and some other activities.
