Performance of Sastra

I suggest this university for vast knowledge and good placements and excellent faculty. Especially very nice seniors providing guide for future path

Course is outstanding and one of the best in tamil nadu ( in my opinion ). The curriculum is relevant to current affairs of the country and we can get updated accordingly. Even ugc has appreciated for undertaking this course. This course enhance the knowledge in bank finance and insurance sector

For Bcom. We have some good option like CUB and other pvt banks. Wipro TCS and some finance and insurance company. They are providing some talents to these companies and all these coming every year

Colosseum. Daksh. Kuruksastra are all the main events and some dept events are conducted annual. In my dept. Pradipta is the event only for B com students called from all over colleges to participate in this event. Kuruksastra is the biggest of all and this is cultural event where numerous including some big names are also participated

For B com. Avg fees per semester is rs.15000. We have 6 semester. Only first sem we want to pay above 20000 at the tym of admission. Others are all 15000. Mode of payment is only online suggested by them. Others such as exam fees and breakage dues are all separate

Scholarship are given only to hostel students residing at sastra hostel. Criteria for scholarship is above 7.5 cgpa in semester exam.

Gender ratio is 1:1 ( i think so ). But in my class is girls : boys ( 44 : 14 ). They have a separate building for research. There is no such discrimination in university and all are treated equally. Colosseum is the event for sports. So there is no tolerance in politics and economy side

One advantage in my university is. There is no ragging. Seniors are well treated and we can consider as brothers and sisters. Such a lovely seniors and they will do what we needed with utmost care

By Merit basis. My course is B.com and the institution is expected over 85 %. Students with higher percentage will get first preference. There is no entrance exam. I opt this course to enhance knowledge in bank finance and insurance sector

Faculty in my department has vast knowledge over different subjects they are handling. Most of the staff has experience over 15 years. They help the students to nurture their unique talent. Staffs are strict enough. But teachings are excellent and i prefer this college if you want vast knowledge
