The experience of my college life

Good remarks, 1. Very peaceful environment, greenery everywhere 2. Architecture of my college is very unique 3. Many Co-curricular activities keeps on happening. Bad remarks, 1. Placements are not that good, what we heard while taking admission in this college.

My college has 8 semester, that is 4years course, after going through this semesters one by one, the base of this course gets cleared, and in the summer breaks we are given option to do training/internships based on time available. We had three educational visit, 1. Shirohi rajasthan, JK Lakshmi cement plant 2. Kadana dam, wanakbori, Dahod 3. Water treatment plant, in Ahmedabad

My college has good placements opportunities in some fields like IT, Computer, EC etc talking about the core branches, like civil, electrical and mechanical there is few chances of placements. You may get placement, but salary package is low to moderate.

There are many events taking place, major events are as below: 1. Gtu techfest of gujarat takes place in our college 2. cultural techfest 3. Vishwacup, sports event 4. minor events, college based carried out by NCC, NSS etc We celebrate febuary days, like signature day, traditional day, teachers day and many more.

Being government college, fee is very less, for 1 years it takes maximum 6000?, very affordable, Its best for middle class students. One can pay the fees online form debit card, credit card and even offline through bank challan, but note that if payment is done through SBI then there be no transaction charges applied, otherwise there is transaction charges for other banks.

Yes, college provides us many scholarships schemes that come under the government criteria and the caste systems. I availed a scholarship named National portal scholarship, which is totally based on merit of student, I got 10000? for 1 year.

Campus life is awesome. Talking about my branch male to female ratio is 3:1. But if you go for others branches like computer, IT then ratio becomes equal. Vishwacup is the sport event that takes place every year, Me being a active player of badminton and table tennis, have won medals in this sport, there are at least 25 sports games organised in ths Vishwacup.

Yes, I stayed in college hostel for 1 year. room facilities are good but mess food is of poor quality, so we use to eat food through tiffin service. In a particular room there is allotment of three students and even room is spacious.

When I was in college, I have attended the alumni seminar twice, here alumni tells about their experiences in their field and motivates us and guides us for scopes available in future

I got admission based on my merit rank that was created by 60% marks of 12th standard and 40% marks of JEE result. My admission in this college is based on ACPC criteria. I choose this college because its one of the best reputed government college, in gujarat, very kind environment and it has a good location in Ahmedabad.

Most of the faculties in my college have masters degree and some of them are even doing phd or have got phd degree with atleast 3-5 years of experience in teaching field. Faculties kind and helpful, but its a government college, so it depends on us how much knowledge we can gain through them, Lectures are taken regularly till mid semester exams, after that lectures are not regular, it depends on the willingness of the students to gain knowledge, but yes, based on the lectures, you will be totally ready for your semester exams.
