The course curriculum was based on the Calcutta University pattern. We had to face 3 exams in a year which are half yearly, selection test and main University EXAMS, the first two tests were taken in college rooms itself but for the main exams we had to go to other colleges. The teachings were very good and the staffs were really very helpful and supportive, extra classes were also provided depending on our needs before the university exams. As I was in BBA course the course was very much business oriented. In the course period we were also taken to industry visit in Emami paper Mills and excursion in Dooars. Both the trips were planned and executed by the college faculties.

There were no such specific placement in our college but yes if any walkin held we were given prior notice to attend that if we were interested. In our course structure internship was there for 2nd and 3rd year students. The internship placements were decided by the department itself.

The most talked about event is Caledonia which is celebrated every year in college campus. Our college holds many other festivals such as vivekananda birthday we had exhibition right outside our college and others events were also held at our times such as science Festival and cultural fests.

For normal course the fee is feasible and very less but if you are opting for professional course the amount is a bit expensive. fees are to be deposited in cash counter of college and receipts are been provided on payment. There were no additional fees taken by college.

No i did not applied for any scholarship. There is proper structure to apply for college scholarship. Forms are provided by the departments and verification is done as accordingly scholarship is being provided.

Campus life was heavenly, that is the most wonderful time of my life I spent. Male female ratio depends on the type of course. Yes there were competitions based on debates, sports etc. Wonderfully planned and executed by the college faculties. There were also different seminars on workshop on various topics. There was also an event called fresh face contest where only 1st year students were allowed to participate. All and all to be a part of this college is the best decision I took in life.

No i did not stayed in hostel but few of my friends were staying in hostel. As far as I have heard the room were spacious and sharing of two to three persons rooms were there, warden is bit strict towards entry and exit time of college hostels.

Yes senior students were really friendly and helpful. They used to plan any fest or cultural events with us the juniors and are really helpful and needful at tough times.

Based on the marks merit list was published, we were called for written exams. then based on written exams another list was published to call students for GD and interview on different dates. FINALLY the main merit list was published in June which was based on the weightage of marks we got in the above process.

Faculties are the proudness of our college. Before the exams they put all their efforts to make us pass with good grades. They took extra classes and doubt clearing before the exams,if needed they can also adjust classes on Sundays. The faculties were highly qualified with PhD and masters degrees in respective field. Learning can be so interesting I've learnt from my gurus only. The head of department was the person who will do anything to make us stand in future.
