There is no such thing like good and bad highlight if we talk about MIT. Everything is like as it is in any average engineering college. For management I have few words here. Just don't make this college a factory which only produces engineering degrees,

I took UPSEE and got rank around 44000 in general. Firstly I didn't choose this college, it was my last preference and so was the course. But this rank which I got was not good enough to get me into some computer science course in some renowned college. Although Mechanical from MIT is considered quite good.

Course curriculum of UPTU is structured in a such a way that it will eventually get you an engineering degree, i do not know if it was anyhow related to focus on research. The academics were good at MIT.

If you are studying at MIT and you are thinking of internship, please do not expect it from college. No company comes here for internship, you have to do this part all by yourself. I did my internship at BHEL, which was no good for me at all and yes there was no stipend offered.

MIT unlike most of the colleges of UPTU provides placements to some of the students. Infosys is the regular recruiter of the college. Except this, sometimes some not so renowned companies also visit the campus. So, if you are good enough to grab an opportunity, you will probably get it at MIT. But do not expect too much in quest of placement from this college.

There are two major festivals, one is sports and other one is cultural. The cultural fest 'Utkarsh' is something about which they boast a lot and somehow it is worth it. Utkarsh is celebrated with full enthusiasm.

Scholarship is available for reserved categories which is given by UP Govt. Do not expect any other scholarship if you are that meritorious and all.

If I talk about campus life, its certainly not that much fancy like engineering colleges. They don't let you much time in campus except your classes. But still there is central park, canteen and other spots where you can hangout if you are free from classes. Gender ration is average, I guess it is 60:40 boys girls ration. Labs are quite good at MIT. In fact in my department, they are the best. Every department has all the labs with all requisite equips. Sports is managed by MITSA (Sports Association). They have some of the facilities like badminton, volley ball, basket ball, football and cricket. Extracurriculars are also organized on frequent basis. They all those students clubs and societies like debate, robotics and all which conducts various activities throughout the year.

I would not say anything about hostels and food there because I didnt stay at hostels. But what I know about hostels of MIT is that it was probably not the best option to stay in the hostels. Hostellers had their own world and in my opinion they were jus

When I was in college I interacted a lot with seniors, they were all helpful. But once you get passed out from here, you will probably lose all the contact from the alumni except your friends. College never arranges something like alumni meet.

Some of the faculty members were experienced and well qualified. They were supportive too, up to some extent. But what they taught about engineering was just what was in the books. Precisely, you do not need any professor to be an engineer from here.
