For the food and the infrastructure they are providing it is definitely worth it

It is as same as every other Anna univ affil. colleges. Other than that we are supposed to take internal exams every month. The professors were good in our department. Even we get new laboratory which surely helps with learning. as said earlier we have to get enough marks in internal exams to get good internal for University exams.

Placement is very good compared to other colleges but it will be mostly comprised of IT companies and MNCs irrespective of your course.

Only thing celebrated here is sports day there will be no cultural events but the hostel day is celebrated grandly. Every Saturday hostel students will be allowed to use outdoor auditorium to play movies or videos. There will be onam or udadi festival celebrated by the respective groups.

Feasible In my point of view because getting accomodation and food in Chennai at this very minimal rate is actually difficult. The fees is acually 115000 for day scholars and 165000 for hostellers in my year for the non veg food for 5 days a week it is definitely worth it.

No scholarship is provided to me. But sports student here will get free education they will be covered for almost every expenses for their training.

The gender ratio depends on the department but mostly in our department it will be 50-50 kind of. The parents of female students will feel safe for their children and for male students they feel that their children will become more disciplined but in my opinion I don't believe this. Only sports students are given importance of sport activities in our college

Yes I have opted for hostel for the first two year the rooms were mostly 4 sharing with individual bathroom attached to every room with 4 cots and bed provided. 24 hour water facility is available but hot water is available only in winter that too for 2 hours in the morning only.

Usually seriors and alumini people will rarele come back to college. But in case we visit the college we will be provided with free food and bus services which is good.

I got admission through government counselling. I pelrepared a list of colleges that I can get for my cut off. st.josephscollege tops the list. From my early days I have a grave interest for mobile phones which made me chose ECE course. After the counselling I went to the college there the fees mentioned in the college is twice the amount mentioned in counselling as prescribed by government but the additional fees is for food and bus services.

There were about 30 staffs in our department among which half of them were experienced and half of them were new but each and everyone is well educated. For each subject there will be about 80 to 90 hours of class room teaching will be there. Every year there will be a training course for about 2 weeks to get good knowledge in our core areas.
