Manav Alang's Review On DAV College, Jalandhar

Dav college is one of the most renowned colleges of jalandhar during our last Semester Even NACC team made there visit here and rated our college as 3.6 out of 4 grades so my good highlight to enlighten my college is that, today I'm employed In Accenture and Dav is the root behind my success if principles like Hard work, Dedication , Sincerity Towards Work, Humanity etc were not taught I would not have been where I'm today, so on a concluding note I must say you all is not just have a look at my review but do make visit here with your family to brighten up your future by being placed in top companies and build a good character.

I opted for B.Com course because I was mainly in commerce stream and this was the best course for me to prove my ability because I have good accounting concepts overall.

B.Com course is of 3 years divided into 6 semester and everyday we have 6 normal working college hours, the regularity of this college campus was mainly because of its teaching staff and only a minority section was of bunkards but overall the teachers gave a conceptual view of all the topics to such a great extent that all tudenta grasp the concepts by just listening to the reachers.

Our college offers internship programme in many top rated companies and even some MNC also like Genpact, Blue dart, IBM, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and many more.

Companies like BlueDart, IBM etc were many calculative in selection procedure, A large number of students took there skiils to get qualified in these companies but only a few students were lucky enough to get placed in these companies. Companies packages were 3-4 lakhs annually which were very good on a starting basis with all other emoluments and bonus and dearness allowances extra.

Our college Offers many cultural events even on normal university levels festivals like college fest, annual general sports meet, etc all these functions were greatly held by large number of college students because these functions greatly build college reputation to a greater extent because great legends like Gulshan Kumar, Cricketer Mandeep singh, Rahul sharma all are from Dav College.

Dav college provides many scholarship to those students who were needy and they find it difficult to gather college fees apart from merit holder students, there were also some students who were deprived of there families and were alone and college offered them hostels for free services along with meal, therefore I must like to bring your kind attention that dav laid emphasis on character building along with career building .

Campus life is the bestest life i have ever enjoyed with my friends because when we entered college we wete told by everyone that this college is very strict etc etc but this was just a rumour, we dyring our three years had a blast in out college life.Gender ratios were equal. Students offered us Fairwell party during our last semester even it was more rememberable than our fresher's party this college follows anti-ragging campaign so there is not even a single scope of raggings and no racial discrimination is followed here on any grounds whether it be religious, social, caste, colour, creed, sex.

The hostels were very neat and tiddy the fees structure was 25000/- annually, Rooms were fitted with well knit air-conditioners, the mess food is the most yummiest and memorable times of my college period because everyday during our tired schedule food was the only gasp to gain energy and mess organisers truly kept in mind the students needs and desires and also offers Sweedishes in every one or two days and the food supplied was served on average rates of 35rs per diet.

Aluminium Network is beyond descriptive, I don't have words to explain how helpful our senious were, whenever and workshops, assignments, topic discussion, debate was organized, it was our seniors who helped us like out family and who stood by us all the time so that we were not at all pressurized and whatever we have achieved in our college life we dedicate that to entire teachers and all those senior students who stood besides us as a pillar in our each and every success.
