My College

Any postive feedback of my college is that it gives a lot of exposure to its students of outside world and corporate world. Students not only graduates from here but they grew up here by spending a most important part of their life here. Negative feedback is that they should imcrease their placememt records.

The course structure is somewhat outdated as it contains many subjects which are of no use. I am pursuing electrical engineering from JSS ACADEMY OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION NOIDA and last semester we studied subject named power system optimisation.But this subject has no use for a btech engineer as it is a subject for PHD scholars. But labs are good having all working machines.

Talking about placement then it is a matter of concern for the university as almost more than the half of students are unplaced every year especially students of core branches including mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering,electronics and electrical engineering.Mass recruiters do come every year to take students in bulk irrespective of their branch.

In University like AKTU (Dr. Abdul kalam technical university) events are like null.Few colleges like KIET college some other private colleges host an event inviting celebs otherwise college like mine (JSS Noida) conducts only sports event like Mythri (a 3 day program ) amd a cultural fest Zealicon( again a 3 day program).

Fees of private colleges of this university is too much high as it is nearly 1.5lakh per anum for some private colleges and for other it is in the range of 1.20 lakh to 1.50 lakh per anum.For government colleges like BIET it is just half.

Yes my university provides a scholarship for the srudents whose any one of the parent is no more.This scholarship is named CKN (Chatra Kalyan Nidhi) which is a very good iniative by the university and this has benefited me a lot a s due to this only i can continue my studies.Another scholarship is given by UP state government for students.

Gender ration is again in the favour of boys as it is 10:60 for girls :boys. Extracurricular activities are the only things in the college other than studies which make students alive.There are many clubs or societies in my college which are of different feild of interset like robotics,Hindi literature,English literature, Cultural Societ, Dramatics society and so more.

Hostel facilities of my college is quite nice but uf you get a seat because there are very limited seats for boys hostel but for girls hostel seats are plenty.Talking about food its is average.Hostel fees is again abiut 91000 for boys and 95000 for girls per anum

Interaction of seniors and juniors is not so good as their is separtate wings for 1st year and remaing years students which is not a good thing.Also seniors are not allowed to go in that part.But ya seniors are helpful once you get to know them.

I get admission in my college by giving a entrance examination whose name is UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination). First you have to give the UPSEE written paper and after that we get our score card on the basis of which we have to take part in college allotment process called counselling by choosing the college of our choice with required branch in an online portal and after that seats are alloted by university according to ranks.

This is the feild where we can say that they are good.As mostly all the teachers are atleast MTech graduates and otherwise PHD graduates with a deep knowledge of their respective subjects. Their style of teaching is good if a student is sincere and attend all their lectures.Infact there will be no need to join coaching if someone give attention in class.
