There is only positive remarks for me about college.The faculties are high educated and give every knowledge about the study materials. And about the labs also I have positive remarks about college.All lab facilities are available here in our college.
Course Curriculum Overview
Msc Geology is a rare course.This course is about the earth.High lab facilities available here.The lectures give each and every points about the module and make the study more comfortable. The exams conducted every third month of the semester.
Placement Experience
There is no placement.But they provide internship. They send a request to GSI Hyderabad for accept the students for internship.They will give the opportunity to the students.There is no placement.Its a government institution.
College Events
The cultural programs conducted on our college.Kannada Rajyolsava , Christmas celebration, onam celebration are the programs celebrating every year.The participation of students is very important and it's fine.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Msc Geology is a 2 year course. University of Mysore is a government institution,but the fee is about 57000 in first year including 1&2 semester and 54000 in second year including 3&4 year. It's not expensive because there high facilities available.Labs , seminar halls , museum are good enough for studies.
Fees and Financial Aid
The scholarship only awarded for backward caste and it is about 3000 , after submitting details and documents they will check the details.After completing master degree they will give the scholarship.Only backward caste have the scholarship.The students must have 55% mark in UG.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities are conducting every year. cricket, football & shuttle game's have been conducted.University have a cricket team which is selected from the students of msc first to fourth semester.
Hostel Facilities
The PG average rental is about 5500. College hostel have limited seats.Lots of PG' available in Mysore. The fee is just expensive. Stay and food is cost minimum of 5500 which is not possible for average students
Alumni/Alumna
The college seniors are very friendly and they are very helpful.They give their previous notes and question papers to us for reference.And they give exact ideas about the module, theory exams and practical exams.
Admission
I have written an entrance examination, and got selected.The exam conducted on maximum of 50 marks.After finishing entrance half of the entrance exam mark and degree mark added to publish merit list.I have got selected on the second allotment
Faculty
The faculties are highly educated.They are PhD professors ,and they have high knowledge and they have the ability to teach each things very clearly.The seminar is conducted by professors,they divide the students into different groups and giving the topics to students and also helping to edit the seminar before presentation
