Best in the race of private college

All I want to say is that, Galgotias University is a better option than any other private college in Uttar Pradesh, as it's placement is good. But the faculty is not very good as there is a huge communication gap between students and faculty. Students life is good they can enjoy while studying, campus infrastructure is also fine. Strict policies against vandalism and ragging, so don't worry about that. I'd recommend this college for not so studious studnets.

The course curriculum was not so good upto the mark as there was no focus on research area. The schedule was very hectic with frequent labs and classes and exams were pretty regular, which was not so favorable for students.

Placements opportunities are good as compared to other private college in the region. But there were no internship opportunities provided by college which is a negative point. There were many companies that came to our campus for placement. The average package for this year is about 3-4 lakh per annum, which is low according to me.

Every year an university fest is conducted named as G-Quasar and a technical fest is also conducted. There are many clubs in our college so they conduct there events accordingly and department wise fests are also held every year. Some Hackathons were conducted in last few years.

Fee structure of our university is feasible according to other private colleges like amity, sharda. Fees is to be paid annually in a whole amount and no relaxation is provided in that. Usually, last day to pay the fees is 7 april of every year.

No I didn't avail any scholarship or loan from college. And as far as my knowledge, there is no scholarship provided by my college. So it is better to take a loan from a bank or private firms, if you really need to get some funding.

There are various activities which are ongoing every day, almost 24 clubs are there so every club is having a different activity on every day. One can join as many clubs as they want. Technical workshops are also conducted on regular basis. Gender ratio is okay. And strict rules against ragging are also there.

No I didn't opt for hostel facility at all. I was a daily scholar, so I travelled daily to college through public transport which costed my about 5000 per month, which was very nominal and economical.

The one thing which I feel should be there is Junior - Senior interaction as there is very less interaction between juniors and seniors. You might not know any of your senior if you are not active in clubs. So that is a negative point here. Also some seniors are arrogant.

I got admission in this college through the merit list based on 12th class result. As my percentage was good so I got computer science engineering in this university. Though the admission process was easy.

Faculty was not at all interested in teaching their allotted subjects and most of the faculty is from other part of India, that is why there was a communication gap between students and faculty. So I will not recommend faculty of our university.
