Remarks

Positive remark is that the college is encouraging one in extracurricular activities.Other side there are many negatives for this college.1st thing is that the hostel facility is not at all good.2ndly the college is situated away from the city.So it is difficult here to get the things or orders easily.3rd thing is that the faculty is not good.Specified lecturers are not taking their specialised subject. They are teaching the subject which they don't have any specialization

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course is really beautiful. Learning about Indian system of medicine is a good one. I am really enjoying the subjects and reading it with interest. Labs practicals all are going good I am still in 1st yr so no board exams yet, They will be during Sept I guess

Placement Experience

4

In the medical field, this is a new college We are the 3rd batch. So till now no batch has passed out completing total 5 and half yrs of course. Our superseniors are still studying in 3rd yr. We will be having internship after 4th yr

College Events

3.5

1st function what they did is fresher's day, in which I had given the welcome speech Then kaizan, Diwali function, Christmas party. Functions were average but we still enjoyed them. My participation in these is doing welcome speech those only but in kaizan fest I have participated in fashion show.

Fee Structure And Facilities

As I had got this college through all India quota in Neet, I have paid 2 lakhs for the government. Rest 1,10,000 I have paid to the college. For hostel fee they took 85,000 and as a lab fee they took 22,000

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't know about any scholarships or loan facility provided by this college. I haven't applied for any loan. As our caste it's included in GM,i will not get any scholarships from anyone. So my parents are paying my fee and my needs

Campus Life

3

Extracurricular activities are good. Recently we were having sports day.As per my knowledge there is cheating or discrimination based on gender, race, religion, economic status or political wise. There is no harrasment in any activities for the students (extracurricular)

Hostel Facilities

2

For the hostel we are paying 85000per year but the hostel is not that good We were 6 members in one room at first. Now after complaining about this regularly to the management, we are 4 now. There are no specified wardens In the hostel. Tiles doors and cupboard are broken little Not happy with the hostel

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are really good.No ragging in the college. All are good friendly and helpfull. They are even supportive in all the activities and also they encourage us to participate in all the activities. They guide us in studies and also at the same time enjoy with us

Admission

I got admitted to this college through Neet exam. I was interested in getting a mbbs seat till my 12th.I even tried for it also very hard. I had completed my 12th in Alvas pu college, Manglore. That was the good one, coaching everything was good but due to some of my health issues I failed to get expected marks in neet exam. I wanted a medical field so as a 2nd option I chose BAMS

Faculty

2.5

Honestly speaking, the faculty is not that good. There is a shortage of lectures for some subjects. But some lectures are rly very good and caring. But the necessary thing what we shd do is the self study in the subjects for which we don't have good lectures,

Course Curriculum Overview:

The approch of ayurveda to patient is subjective as it focuses on each body type rather than general approach for disease. The curriculum for us is RS7 which is designed in such a way that not only theritical aspects will be clear but also we learn about practical approach to the patient as well. As if now the revised syllabus is very much improved it's difficult to suggest any changes now . The exams are very well planned
