Good college in uptu.

If you want to excel in acedemics come to this college this is very good college having discipline you will not find any severe case of ragging of fighting among the students this is a good college.

I opt for the state engineering exam (UPTU) i scored 10000 rank in that exam because at my rank it was very diffult to get any government college and this college is having good rank in uptu so i opt for this college.

Course curriculum is very hectic in one semester you will be having 6 papers and each subject consists of 5 long unit it is not the college fault it follow the pattern which is given by the uptu and one more problem is also there which i like to mention this university revise there syllabus on regular basis but the book which we get from the library are of old format sometimes it become difficult to read from those books.

No college does not provide internship college only have some of the specific points where college refers students like NTPC dadri, BSNL etc they all the internship stipend is not provide but some student get good internship on their own in which they showcase their talent but most of the student doesnt get stipend.

Placement and job oppurtunity are average for copmputer and it department and they are below avrg for ec students and they are worse in case of mechanical civil and electrical at the end these students sit in the it companies which they dont want tcs wipro ibm etc are the company who visit and give package of around 3- 4lakh.

College celebrated two main fest one is for cultural and technical and other is for sports they are not much big enough but cover the ncr region 20 - 30 % outsider participate in them college fest inculdes the band performance and also have star night in which one celebrity performs.

Fee structure is feasible but in relation to other college of this kind it is expensive management is very tight about their fees they will not allow you to enter if fees is not paid fees is approx 1.2 lakh for first yr it is about 20 - 30 thousand more and they increase fees every yr by small amount.

The only scholarship which is in college is the up government scholarship other then that college does not provide any scholarsip also college does not have loan facility i think those students who applied for loan have done that on their own college does not play any role in that.

Gender ratio is avrg in cs it ec branch but is in worse in mechanical civil electrical there is not more than 10 girls in these branches extra curricular activities are very much in this college in every month you will find any thing is happening related to dance cultural singing literary college also provide various workshop on robotics etc but they all are paid workshop college doesnot fund them.

If you want to rate hostel then i would give 8 out of 10 for accomadation security and other thing ... but for mess food i would give 3 out of 10 food is not good sometimes it becomeess to bad dinner is even worse and for girls it is more worse because we are not allowed to go out after 7.p.m yes there is PGs around college and they charges 7 8 thousand apprx i m a hosteller so i dont know much about PGs most of the girls preferred to live in hostel for security reasons but most of the boys live outside.

You will find out with this statement of mine about alumni network i m in 3rd yr and i dont know any of the alumni of this college personally alumni network is very weak seniors helps the juniors and their relation is good.

Exam pattern is little bit tight you will have 2 sessional 1 pre university and one external exam in one semester all are compulsory they are that much tight they you will feel having exam in each month sometimes it becomes much irritating.

Teacher are good in teaching their subject they cover their on time but some of the faculty is not good enough to tackle the subject in that case you have to prepare your subject at your own and also teacher are also not able to help us in our projects because they dont have any apractical or technical knowledge.
