IET COLLEGE REVIEW!

Positive thing is that placements are very good although the college is just 23 years old but various companies are coming every year for the placement opportunity including VMware which is a very good company.

Course curriculum is good and it is a CBCS system but they don't give students the liberty to choice subject according to what he/she wants to learn in their college l8fe but it's ok everyplace has their own rules and regulations and we all are bound to follow them.

The placements are very good in my college various companies visited this year including VMware so from that you can think how are the placements this year i am also placed in 2 companies from my college placements. Internship is not sure some companies currently giving intern in the last semester of BE but there is no provision of providing internships in earlier sem of college.

Various Events are celebrated every year like a technical fest, annual fest, coding competitions, sports competitions etc. Technical fest is INVENTO, annual fest is AAKSHANK which is very much known in Central India and it is one of the biggest cultural fest which is organised in a college in MP. There is also a sports event held every year in which inter level and intra level both type of competitions are held. In cultural event every year fashion show competition also being held.

Fee structure is medium and there are various kind of scholarships available from college but for SC/ST/OBC but you can get various kind of scholarships if you keep searching for them so fee structure is kind of medium and if you get scholarship then its easy for a middle class person.

Scholarship provided by college is for sc/st/OBC students category but if you are form general category then you have to search for scholarships and you can get them if you keep a track of scholarships.

Extracurricular activities are very good indeed infact better than academic so if you are interested in extracurricular activity more than just studey then you should join this college and everything a student can dream of is here to take part in it. Sports are also very good although sports ground are in university compound not IET a single thinh which many if the students don't like.

I didn't opted for hostel facility i rented a pg at my father's friend home but basic rent is 20000 per year and mess is generally 2000 per month so it will be 50000 per year expense for hostel and food.

Alumni network is very strong due to which various companies visit for campus placements every year and also students get off campus facilities more than any other students get and also from the next year Goldman Sachs will be also coming to our campus for placements/internship.

I got admission in this college tjrough entrance test JEE (mains) which i think is the toughest exam in the world yo get admission in the college. Admission process is simple as i got a admission in college of MP so i filled MP counseling process and it is simple online process just document submission verification and according to their process i got admission in the college

The faculty are good in my opinion because in the end its a student luck and talent that matters there is nothing like spoon feeding happen in a college so thinking that a student will get everything cooked and in a plate in from of them is nonsense but otherwise some faculty is very good some are average some are guest faculties also.
