My college Memories

The college life is super and no one can deny that. The college is safe for girls. The college is against ragging. We have strict rules against ragging. But we had a fun life during our college. We learnt many things there.

The Course structure was good. It was designed by senior most professors of our college. But, the curriculum of our juniors was too good. The labs and exams were chilled all the time and it was fun most of the times. For a semester, we had 2 internal exams which is 30% and 1 external which is 70% of semester percentage.

The placements were very good before I joined this college. During my placements, we didn't had enough placements, most of the people were placed in BPO jobs, and about 200-250 people were placed in IT companies.

We had one big fest called Mohana Mantra which is a National Level Techno-Cultural Fest. Thousands of people from different colleges will attend this fest. Apart from this, we had Annual day which is celebrated on the Birthday of our Chairman Dr. Mohan Babu Garu.

The fee structure for my batch was feasible if we have reimbursement from government. My fee was 75k out of which 35k was paid by the government. And later the fee got increased for the juniors. Now, the fee is about 1lakh+

The college will give a letter if we want to apply for a study loan. The loan facility is not offered by the college. We can approach banks for the loan and they will ask for a letter from college which the college will provide on request.

We had good extra curricular activities. There was a sports day before which sports competitions would be held and winners would be awarded accordingly. Also, the college encourages students, both girls and boys to participate in zonals in different sports with different colleges. The students will be from differnent regions and religions with different political and economic status.

I opted for a private hostel. The college hostel will be very good and the food served will be delicious compared to all the other hostels, but it was expensive. The private hostels were affordable but the food will be not that much good.

The seniors were good and humble. They were talented too. Some of the alumni who were in good positions would come to college and deliver speeches or they would be SPOC for any company and they would come to recruit us.

I got into this College through EAMCET entrance exam. The admission process is to enroll for online counselling in the eamcet counselling portal. After that, we are allowed to apply for colleges, we can select all the courses and colleges. Later we will be given the course and college based on our rank. I loved Computer Science and so I opted it.

My college has some very good professors who have some 10-15 years, they would teach the subjects in and out of the curriculum. By the end of my college days we had many Tamil lectures and they were very talented.
