I would personally try to enhance the sports and extra curricular activities in the college. It gives a break of doing something else instead of just studying.

I had underwent the entrance test for GGSIPU my rank was 8394. I had choices for 4-5 colleges offering the above mentioned course. I chose the college as one of my brother was in this college and he told me about the placements here. People here gets placed from two universities one, from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and second from Amity University.

There were companies for internships like cisco and microsoft who visited my batch. We were not allowed to sit in any other company if one company selects us. I got selected in microsoft, but around 8-10 companies visited our college for internship.

Placements here at amity are good its just been starting of first placement round and around 60%-70% of our college has been placed. Now you can think of how good placements here are. Companies like accenture, aricent, wipro, microsoft have come to participate in the placements round. Packages of every company differs but minimum package goes something around 4 lacs per annum.

Our college has two fests,one is technical fest 'COLOSSUS' which is organised in october and the other is cultural fest "AMITECH' which is organised in march. During the two days of our technical fest, we have many events,i can't literally count them, they are many some of them are technical events some of them are fun events. During both the fests we also have many seminars and research paper presentation round too.

There is one scheme of scholarship that is available for students i never availed it, but just heard from one of my friends who has it. It is for students who don't have good financial condition. Students need to undergo an interview conducted at the university campus and then the jury judges whether he/she is eligible for scholarship.

All in all campus life is good its fun my college is an engineering college and there are not a bunch of girls who opts engineering as their profession so the gender ratio is low. If we talk about diversity then this college is pick of the list i think i have met people from all parts from our country in our college. Extracurricular in this college are not that good the college management and administration focuses more on academics. College has enough labs, good equipment so there are no such flaws with labs. As i have written before sports and competition are given least priority in my college. Yes,my college has debate sessions so it is a good platform if you are interested in debates.

Hostels are pretty good i don't live in Hostel,but whenever i go to my friend's room i admire the entire hostel. The cleanliness is the most attractive things from the hostel. Fees of the college rises a bit if you lives in the hostel otherwise,there is no such issue of fees if you are doing B.Tech the mess has weekly chart on breakfast, lunch and dinner, so its fine, if we exclude some days and sometimes the taste too.

When i was junior i had good seniors those were the kind of seniors who were always ready to help actually i had no problem with cope up with them. I hope my juniors thinks the same. And there is an alumni meet at our fest, so the alumni network is also good.

The faculty of the college is actually highly qualified and the focus of the college is mainly on studies. Almost every faculty member has their doctorate the college curriculum is actually also very focused towards studies. The college starts from 9:30 in the morning and ends at 5 o'clock in the everning.
