Palanati Karthik's Review On Amrita School Of Engineering - [ASE], Coimbatore

This college is good at every aspects like management, maintenance, academics and placements. Also college provides with peaceful environment for students to shine in their intrests.

IIT JEE, BITSAT, AMRITA entrance test, VIT entrance test, SRM entrance test. I got IIT seat but in north, VIT and SRM but i preffered to join in Amrita since i got Mechanical dept. only in this college. For admission they sent me call letter inviting to attend Admission process in Coimbatore or Bangalore or Amritapuri these are campuses of Amrita school of engineering.

Our college offers different Course structure for different Streams. We have very dedicated faculty. Every faculty must have Phd. in their respective areas or else they have to get Phd. for which they will be doing researches inside the college with the aid of senior professors. Also students will get distinction ( greater than 8 cgpa ) they should publish a paper either in elective courses or in respective course subjects. Electives offered are Humanities like Bussiness communication, Psychology and Course related electives offered by the department.

I haven't went any internship till now from the side of college. Internship are more offered after completing 3rd year. Many companies including Google, TCS, Cognizant offered internships to students with attractive stipend.

There is a Directorate of Corporate & Industry Relations (CIR) department which is a unique and dedicated department of ﾓAmrita Vishwa Vidyapeethamﾔ, established to provide expert guidance to students in specific areas beyond their regular academic curriculum and help them to get placements and job opportunities.

Biggest Festivals of College are Gokulashtami, Pragathi, Anokha, Amritotsavam, Amma BirthdayGokulashtami is the biggest of all and it is a cultural festival celebrated on the occasion of Lord sri krishna Birthday. On that day every department in the campus compete for the Krishna statue (Prize) in the disciplines of cultural games, campus decoration, dance, music, float and precision. Anokha is the next biggest and it is a 3 day technical Fest in which many companies and sponsers visit college offering workshops, events and contests. Evenings will have Dance, Musical and a Eventide night on 3 days.

Campus is very large with vast area of greenery equal ratio of sexes will be there. Student parties will happen under the charge of any faculty allotted. There will be a separate department called Student welfare department which will work on the issues. There are many student clubs like Srishti, Bhaava, SAE, Astra, Vision, Sahaya, Anantham which will conduct many events across the academic year on various occasions.

Hostels are too good at their maintenance you will be allotted with 3 more members for first three years. In the final year you will be allotted with separate single room. Hostel fee 15000 mess food is more of healthy and purely vegetarian mess fee 44000.

Most of the alumni of college likes to serve in the college in different ways. And many are serving as faculties, lab staff, reasearchers, adjuct professors, recruiters, CIR members. Senior students always helps in academics and sports too.
