Remarks
Positive remark:- its a good college to opt for batchelor degree, student will be having lots of opportunities in academic as well as other cultural activities. There is no political activities or rowdy behaviours allowed in this company. Negative remark:- The college timing is so hactic, and college focuses on academic studies more.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum that Karunya provides is one of the best as compare to other colleges or institutes. The students taking admission after 2020 will be having good opportunities in many aspects. Now Karunya have got advanced labs and technologies.
Placement Experience
If we talk about the placements in Karunya. The placement department works so hard to get their students placed. They keep on working and call many companies for the placements. Students of every other branches get placements in their core companies, or otherwise there are IT companies like Accenture/Wipro/TCS who hire non-IT branches students also.
College Events
Karunya Megaplay - It's a Christmas Tree celebration happens at the time of Christmas. Mindkraft - Karunya Fest. Many technical and non-technical events occurs in this fest. Students showcase their projects and innovations. Its a 3 day event. KEMT(Karunya Evangelin Memorial Tournament) - It's a sports event in which teams of different colleges of Tamil Nadu or Kerala participate.
Fee Structure And Facilities
It's a little bit expensive. But worth every penny. The service provided by the college is the best. They take care of each and everything to make the student's life comfortable. 24x7 water supply and hot water also 24x7 electricity availability, cleanliness.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you have scored more than 80 in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics than you will be eligible for scholarship. Or if you will be under Rank 100 in the KEE(Karunya Entrance Examination) than also you will be eligible for scholarship.
Campus Life
Apart from academic studies, Karunya makes its students indulged in Non-academic activities like NSS, Rotaract club, NCC Photography club, Natures club, Journalism, Astronomy club, etc. Karunya even supports in every sport like football, Cricket, Kabaddi, Basketball, Hockey, Badminton, Tennis, Table Tennis. Inside the hostel campus, have 5 gym's.
Alumni/Alumna
Karunya has a huge network of alumni. Most of our alumni are now in good companies or in reputed companies. Alumni use to come to college to motivate students. Alumni also come with placement opportunities.
Admission
Karunya conducts its own entrance examination called as KEE(Karunya Entrance Examination) through which you will get the counselling date. And in the counselling you have to opt the branch you want to study. After counselling, now you are the student of Karunya. Or you can apply without giving the entrance examination by directly applying in college itself.
Faculty
The faculties of Karunya are very supportive, every faculty of every other department are ready to mentor their students any time even if its too late at night. Faculties help the students at the time of the exam by clearing all their doubts in the hostel itself. Students of Karunya don't need to take tuition classes for their academic subjects.
