Remarks

Good infrastructure. Good aspects of helping the farmers. Practical knowledge about agriculture and many job opportunities. Less semester fees. Good labs for research works. Almost all teachers are helpful. Senior junior relationships.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It's a developing course with many aspects to research in different subjects such as soil science, plant biochemistry, microbiology, plant, physiology, pathology, entomology, meteorology, sociology etc. Exam system is sometimes hectic other wise classes and lab works are fun.

Placement Experience

3.5

After graduation there's no particular job opportunities directly but job exams of AFO, ADA, can be given. Stripens are not much in 4th year monthly 3000 is provided. And as it is a govt. College the expenses is also less.

College Events

4.5

Cultural fest named naihrit, freshers programme, saraswati puja, hall days, krishi mela are organised. Naihrit is the biggest fest. It is conducted thorough 2days bands and singers from all over india performs. Students also showcase their talents un these programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Less expensive currently the fees has risen to Rs.5000 per semester. The fooding cost is extra. They provides us canteen subsidy of 1700 per year. before the fee was only 1400 per semester. As i was admitted in 2017 my fees is still 1400.

Fees and Financial Aid

No scholarship from the university in ug. In pg there are scholarships of Rs. 3000 to Rs. 20000. I don't know sbout the loans. As the fees are less i don't think any kinds of loans are needed for the ug students.

Campus Life

4.5

Gender ratio is boys 3:1 girls. Students Union is present. Workshop of agricultural works is conducted. Students all over the India of different languages different cultures comes to study here. Even students from other countries come to study here. All religions and races are treated as same here. There's no politics inside the relationship of the students. Annual sports are organised every year and selected students are able to participate in different sporting events organised for universities all over india.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel rooms are good sufficient 2 or 3 students stay together in a room. Almira and study table chairs are provided free of cost. There are mostly hostel students and only few 3 or 4 students are day schooler. No rent needs to be paid for the hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes i think seniors are most helpful in this college. Without seniors study here is next to impossible. They help us in studying abd other stuffs also in job references. They makes study fun and exams easy. The relationship between seniors and juniors is the best among all of the colleges i think.

Admission

Agriculture is the most important sector in the world right now and i want to help my country farmers with it. I admitted through merit list and counselling after that. I hat to give sertificates of class 12 and the necessary medical certificates.

Faculty

5

Good teachers and good infrastructure here makes good fortune for interested students and alsonin research works. Faculty is helpful to the students. Teachers work hard and practical work makes it easy.

The exam was divided into 3 parts I.e 1st mock (15) marks,2nd mock(15 mark) and then final (50mark) and rest 20 mark as practiCal and field work.the students who do class regularly,is easy to pass because teachers are awesome..but if anyone miss class then it's hard to understand by reading books. The guard during exam is too hard..so those students who read concentrately are passed easily .. and those who don't read whole year and only read exam night they failed..
