Remarks
Positive points regarding our college is that there is a great opportunity in field of debate, sports, cultural programs.The negative is that there are fights during election time which create an atmosphere of fear among students.
Course Curriculum Overview
I took admission in BSc(PMS). There are several practical classes organised by the college.The exam is basically according to the syllabus.The semester system is used in our college.The exams are divided into Internal and external with a weightage of 30 and 70 respectively.
Placement Experience
There are no placement opportunities in our college as it is a government aided college. Most of the students studying here prepare for competitive exams.There are no placement opportunities in this college as it is not a professional course.
College Events
There are several function organised by the selected students and college like dance, sports in the year. Several programs which are under the influence of Central government are also organised here. The programs are also at the state level and district level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fee for the year is 1913 exactly for the whole year. The exam fee for each semester exams is 750 for new students and 700 for the students studying in second and third year respectively.The total fee for the whole graduation is 10000 approx.
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships being offered by the college is according to the central government scholarship rules scholarship to the candidate belonging to the ST, SC, OBC category.The scholarship is nearly 70% of the total fees.
Campus Life
There are various schemes like NSS, NCC etc. The equal opportunity provided in our college.The ratio of male to female is approximately equal. There is no discrimination on the religious basis. The college is influenced by political activities as elections are being organised in the college.
Alumni/Alumna
There is an alumni network.The registration for alumni is on the website http://www.davpgcollege.in/AluminiRegistration.aspx. Once registration is done the ex student becomes a member. The alumni network is very strong.
Admission
The procedure for the admission in DAVis properly on merit basis.The shortlisting is according to the marks secured by the candidate in his SSC(Intermediate) exams. I got admission in first merit list announced by the college.
Faculty
The faculty of our college is very experienced. They are professional in there field.Most have them are Phd holders.They teach each and every aspect of the subject.They also provides most important notes as per exam perspectives.
