College Review

Our college gave us the platform to learn a lot of things. It helps us in gaining knowledge, learn new things in all the fields, technical as well as non-technical. It helps us in improving all kinds of skills required to be a professional.

We belong to the JNTUH University, later the college has acquired the autonomous status from the academic year 2016-17. The course structure provided for us is useful to build a career in IT sector. There were 2 semesters for each academic year and 2 mid exams lab, theory for each semesters.

The placement opportunities to the students was good, and it was increasing gradually. There are lots of on campus, pool campus and off campus opportunities to various companies. Almost 60-70% of students got selected in any of the companies. Aptitude training and some technical coding training through e-box etc were also provided to students to increase their chances of selecting in companies with good packages.

There are various cultural, technical fests that are celebrated in college every year. Students were encouraged to celebrate in all the events. Annual day will be celebrated once in a year with dj night. Even the alumni's were invited to attend the annual day celebrations.

For the students of batch 2015-19, the college fees is 69, 500 per year. Later the fees was different from 2016 joinees. College bus fees is different for different students based on their distance from college. Lab manuals and records fees is separate.

Some of the students get scholarship of almost 35000 per year. Some students take education loan. It has to be repaid 1 year after completion of the study. The scholarship amount will be issued by government and not by the college, and loan will be issued by any of the banks.

The students were encouraged to participate in various sports events outside and inside the college. Our college has won in many sports events. There were many hackathons and coding events that takes place in college, many students participate in it. Students also participate in various workshops.

Most of the seniors gave a positive feedback about this college which helps me in joining this college. The seniors were also very helpful and there is a strict anti-ragging in our college. Ragging to juniors is strictly prohibited in our college.

I got 15k rank in eamcet conducted in the year 2015. I have applied for many colleges in cse and ece Depts. I gave this college as my second preference and I got selected in this college through convenor seat. I was interested in working in software field and so choosen this course.

All the faculties have completed their mtech with good scores. There were also few faculties who have completed their phD. The teaching was good. Online Feedbacks will be provided to the faculties by students on each subject after completion of each mid exams about their level of understanding, teaching etc.
