Experience of My College

Teaching and infrastructure scenario of the college is not so good but as far as placement is considered, it comes within the top 5 nits of India.The administration of the college is also very much good

As far as course curriculum or course structure is considered, it is not so good.Our syllabus doesn't comprise all the present day development and technologies which we should have been taught in the college.Since the attendance is 75% compulsory, it becomes hectic to do all the classes with labs.

The scene of placements and jobs in my college is very good.Many big MNCs come here for placement as well as internships.Some big companies like Saint Gobin also give PPO.Since I am just in second year, I haven't done any internship yet.

The College has the three major fests Urja (sports fest) -It occurs within the college only Ojass (Technical fest).The students from almost all over come to take part. Culfest(cultural fest) Also second largest fest of eastern India.Here also students from all over India come to take part.

Tuition fee is ?62500 per semester.Mess fee is ?16000 per semester.Industrial and Hostel charges is ?26500.One can get fee remission as per his economic status.2/3rd or 100%.I think the fee structure in the college is good.

There is a bank named SBI in the college campus.I take education loan from that bank only.It gives loan in a easy way as compared to other banks.The interest also in this bank is quite less than the other banks.

As far as extracurricular activities are considered, my is far too good.It has various clubs and team in almost every field like singing, dancing, sports, literary and debating society and also various technical teams are present here.

The hostel infrastructure is very much good.It has 7 floors with elevator.Full WiFi system. Single room is alloted.Hostel campus is quite large.It has volley ball court and badminton court too.The common room of hostel has LED TV.

Through my facebook account, I come in contact with an alumni of my college who have cleared gate examination with a good rank.I am in frequent contact with him regarding the guidance and he also help me.Many of my seniors are also helpful in providing their notes and guiding in study.

I get admission in the College by clearing the jee mains exam. I opted civil engineering.I could have choosen Computer Science but I want to go in government sector to serve the nation.Since my college is the college of national importance, the admission process starts through the JOSA councilling.I got civil engineering in round 1 and I locked it.

Many of the faculties of the college are outdated.They don't try to teach modern things with modern techniques.They come with their 10 years old notes and start teaching.The only good thing with them is that they are punctual.
