Good Infrastructure and facilities but lagging placements

The facilities provided are good, but, faculties need to improvise. Good Infrastructure but placements should be more enhancing.

The course curriculum of some subjects are very lengthy. But, many subjects are quite helpful to gain a knowledge upto a practical level also. There are some courses provided by college, such as aptitude and verbal, for securing on campus placement. Thus, the curriculum is upto the level of preparation into industrial level.

Companies like TCS, Infosys, yash technology, mu sigma, etc visit the campus every year. These companies hire students of all branches upto a large scale, and hence, are major recruiters. The placement record every year is upto a mark of 99% to 100%. Students are provided internship to the respective company they're being placed, or if not, they have to perform internships in any MCA approved company, searched on their own. Hence, internship is a mandatory course.

Events like moonstone, ionos, etc are the main college events, which also includes fest and scientific fests. On the contrary, student heads also conduct nominal fests or events, on the permission of the college authority. The events cover overall : technical, cultural, festivals, etc.

The fee structure is feasible. It is 1 lac pa, and bus, hostel, mess, etc facilities are charged on extra. The mode of payment accepted by college is cheque, net banking or through card. They do not accept cash as a mode of fee payment. There is an advance fee payment in order to secure any seat in a particular branch, which is non refundable, which amounts to 20k INR.

Scholarships are provided to backward class category students. The amount of scholarship is 30k per year by the government. The students must require to fulfil some financial condition rules, only after which they are been provided by a scholarship. The annual income of their parents should be around 2 to 4 lpa.

Campus life is good. The ratio of boys to girls are 5:3. Workshops for personality development, technical, cultural, etc are been held at the university. Since, students of all background are here, ethnicity is quite less. All races and religions are in the university. Political parties like ABVP and NSUI are divided. They look after the student welfare and affairs in the university.

No, I am a localite. But, i do have friends living in the college hostel. Girls hostel is a new building, which is clean, neat and tidy. Bathrooms are in good conditions and so are the rooms, spacious, vented and wide. Around 3 to 4 people share the same room. The mess food is mediocre. For boys hostel, the rooms are less spacious and untidy. But, construction of a new building is under. The hostel fees per year is 80k INR, including mess food and other expenses.

College seniors are quite interactive and supportive. They will help with projects, notes, ideas, etc to their juniors and oppose ragging. They often help and guide us with the norms and other affairs related to the university.

According to the merit list, i was provided electronics and communication engineering, which wasn't a reluctance for me, but, I'm passionate about research works, hence, i opted for the same. The steps of procedure of admissions are. 1. If you've bagged under 2.5 lacs rank in Joint Entrance Examination, you're already eligible for the admission to this college. 2. The admission procedure is not online. You have to visit the college, in admission cell, and have to opt out your desired branch. 3. Each branch has a closing rank. Hence you'll be provided according to your rank.

Faculties of the university are from those who are PhDs to those who are still pursuing their masters. Thus, on an average, faculties are experienced and are really helpful. Though, some faculties still lack knowledge or the approach to create proper understanding among students.
