Remarks
Placement is not that much good. And also Hostel rules were strict. And overall it was a good college. Positive points are that students get scholarship if they get 8 CGPA in each semester. Scholarship was 10000 each year.
Course Curriculum Overview
Exams were conducted in semester wise system, two semesters in each year and 2 mid-sem. lab were regularly conducted and we were provided with all the apparatus and equipment. Well, we had more practicals in 1st year and 2nd year as compared to 4th year.
Placement Experience
Placement is ok. Yes, they provide internship. Internship is different for different types of course. For, the pharmacy students do clinical as well as industrial internship. In Industry we went to a pharmaceutical industry.
College Events
Amit was our annual fest held mainly in the month of march. Singers come, students participated in different types of competition like dance, singing etc. SOA MUN used to held in which different students come from different parts of India and college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
161000 including the course fee, hostel fee and mess fee. Well, I think that the fee is quite affordable. Students can also take loan. 30000 was mess fee, 36000 hostel fee and 95000 was tuition fee including exam fee. All these values may have changed now.
Fees and Financial Aid
Students are provided with scholarship if they had secured 60% above in 10th and 12th also if they get 8 CGPA. 10, 000 scholarship was provided for each year to every student who fulfill this criteria.
Campus Life
Extracurricular activities were organised frequently, we had our Annual fest known as Amity also we had red fm competition. Many quize, dance competition etc. Sports were also one of the major part. There was no issues related to gender and religion.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fee for my batch was 36000 and we had 3 seater, 2 seater and 4 seater rooms, all beds are single beds. Table, chair, cupboard were provided. Fan, tubelight all were present. Hostel room were neat and clean.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors help us if we need any kind of help. I don't have much connection with my seniors but with whom i have they are good. Maximum people give advice for this college. It's a good University in Odisha.
Admission
Admission in the School of pharmaceutical sciences, SOA University was based on 10th and 12th marks and also they conduct their own entrance test. Also, students get admission on the basis of AIPMT score.
Faculty
Well qualified teachers were there to teach us, all have done Phd in there respective subject, they provide us good notes. Teacher were helpful and they give there best to make a student understand the topic and subject.
