Remarks
The most important thing to note about the college is its placement record and it's anti-ragging ecosystem. The college is free from any kind of ragging and if it takes place, strict actions are taken. Nothing as such in negetive remarks.
Course Curriculum Overview
As the college is affiliated to the maulana abul kalam azad university (MAKAUT), it follows semester curriculum. I think semester curriculum is a bit more hectic, as we have to give two final exams in a year.
Placement Experience
Our college is the best when it comes to the placements. Infact it holds the highest placement record in whole state every year. It has true 100% placement record every year. No it doesn't provide campus internships
College Events
We have many technical fests for tech exhibition, tech conference, innovative initiative programs, etc throughout the year. And the cultural program is organised once in a year that too Bengali themed
Fee Structure And Facilities
Taking about the fees structure, for the bachelor of computer applications (BCA) from our college costs near about ?3lakh. Students have to pay it in easy 6 installments of ?50k for every semester I think it is quite feasible.
Fees and Financial Aid
The college trust provides scholarship to the BPL students only after verifying all their details. That too only 50% of the fees is covered in the scholarship. And talking about getting a loan, there a plenty of banks ready to give loan to IEM students due to its credibility and track record.
Campus Life
Taking about co curricular activities, our college is slowly trying to develop that. Recently they have appointed a new games teacher, also built cricket nets for practice, badminton court, basketball court and many other indoor games
Alumni/Alumna
The alumni network of this college is extremely excellent. No matter whatever the problem is, the seniors are just a call away and are always to help. They are very humble and due to earth, and i belive all this is possible due to the distillery of the college
Admission
Admissions are on the basis of merit, if you have got 60% or above in 10+2, then you are eligible to get admission. Also admissions are first come first served basis till the vacancy lasts. Since I always had my keen interest in computer science so i was sure to go for BCA and that too from the best college in the town
Faculty
Faculty is absolutely great, well educated and knows well the art of teaching. Teachers in our college support the students in their all arround growth. They're always available to solve every problem of students.
