Good college. made me learn many new things. made me make new friends. Gained lots of opportunities. Learnt new stuffs. Had fun. Examss. Mess food. Study hour. all these will surely be missed when I leave the college.
Course Curriculum Overview
It’s a very good course. lots of opportunities. We have total of three internal exams and in the final we have a semester exam. it is not so hectic. it’s kinda chilled as we have enough study holidays in between all exams.
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities in my college is good. We get lots of opportunities to attend several placement in campus and off campus placements. many of the students got placed in high companies. several companies such as Accenture,TCS, CSS Corp, capegemini, zifo, Infosys,Cognizant etc had come.
College Events
There are several technical events organised by each department throughout the academic year. We celebrate a Christmas program “MegaPlay” which is one of the main event in our college, students and staffs put in all their efforts in working on this. Then we have mindkraft which is a technical event. we have lots of exhibitions food and fun. Then we have farewell celebration, fresher celebration etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
It’s kinda expensive. compared to other colleges the fees in our college is expensive. but it’s worth it. and my college stands in one of the top ranked colleges so it’s worth it. the fee structure is put in our website.
Fees and Financial Aid
I haven’t applied for scholarships in my college but I’ve heard they offer good scholarships. my friends have availed them. and we have a special ceremony where the students are handed the scholarship by our vice chancellor in person on stage. so it’s good here.
Campus Life
We always have lots of extracurricular activities where we can show our talents. we have our annual sports event called kemt every year. where several tournaments take place between other schools/colleges.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are very good. Talking about the girls hostel we have lots of safety. Since girls aren’t allowed to go out of hostel, they have given us all the facilities inside our hostel campus. such as salon, tailor, cobbler, coconut juice shop, fruit juice shop, fast food,home food, cake shop and a departmental store for our day to day purchases.
Alumni/Alumna
Currently my batch is the senior of our college. But talking about my past seniors they are great people. Really kind and helpful. Always cheers us up and helps us when we need some doubt to be clarified. they are great people
Admission
Spot admission. Traveled to Coimbatore to put admission in Karunya. found the course I preferred to take up. then went and applied for it and got admission. applied for hostel as well. I went for the spot admission process so I didn’t have to attend the entrance exam.
Faculty
They are qualified for their field and they show lots of interest towards their subject, project and students. they not only teach one subject but several other subjects as well for different engineering students.
