Located on the outskirts of the city. Have only two passes per month. So we are allowed only two times out of the college per month. Day pass and home pass. We have a tough time getting the passes approved if the pass is above two.
Course Curriculum Overview
Very structured. We have two periodical exams which contributes to 30 marks. Then we have internal exam in between the periodical exams for 20 marks and the final semester for 50 marks. The internals conducted include assignments, tutorials, quizzes,etc
Placement Experience
Coming to the placements Only the computer science Dept Ensures good placements. The highest salary is 40 lpa And the average is around 10lpa The other depts do not have the much of good placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got a scholarship of 90 percent So my tuition fee is reduced to 30000 So I have to pay a total of 130000 along with the mess fee and hostel fee. I don't know about the loans offered by the college.
Campus Life
Extra curricular activities include sports, gyms, various clubs,. There are.about.8 labs in the college. I think the amount of labs in insufficient. They must increase the number of labs. We have three academic blocks. Each block has its own labs.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel are better For boys till the third year we have to share a room along with three other students. For the fourth year students alone we have separate rooms. It would have been better if we had got separate rooms during our second year itself.
Alumni/Alumna
I do not know much about the alumni network. But many seniors come during the cultural events I've heard that they share any news regarding the availability of the interviews for particular posts in the industry they work. They help us with the post graduate programmes. What to choose and which is apt.
Admission
Went for the counselling. Based on the rank, we get the scholarship and the course we want if available. There are various counselling rounds. Based on the rank we get the round. If we get a good rank Then we will be called for the first round Then the fees is to be paid in case we want to study in the college.
Faculty
Some are good while some are not up to the mark. We have some faculties who are doing research from other universities. If students require any help, The faculties are ready to assist them under any situation. They also help the students with their project works. And also help in publishing the research papers.
